Sorry guys. I totally forgot about posting the winners here too, lol...but they were up on the main page. Congrats to those who won! If there's a 2nd edition of X3 released, I'll probably do another contest for that!

Ant, you should do a contest for the eventual bluray release of X3. Even though I wish Fox would support HD-DVD as that has shown to be the better and cheaper format. lol. But yeah. lol.

Blu Ray's expensive, isn't it? lol...yeah, around the same price as the X3 collector's edition. Plus one would need a bluray player. lol.

Yeah, blu ray players are 1000 bucks a peice, but the PS3(nov.17th) has one build in for only 500/600$,still very expensive, and the discs are 30$,but it has better quality and can fit alot more on it,about 4x that of a regular DVD.

The only thing is, is that HD-DVD has actually been proving to have better picture quality and audio over Bluray and is half the price. I really hope HD-DVD wins the HD format war...I just haven't been thrilled with bluray, most of the reviews for many of the launch titles have been subpar while HD-DVD has had glowing reviews. Plus all HD-DVD players can decode Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital + while Bluray players can't.

i havent seen blu ray yet but i hear its capable of storing more on discs or something like that so that it enhances picture and sound quality

Yes, technically dual layer bluray disc can store more information but most of the studio's aren't using it to it's full capacity and the codec they are using for the picture is inferior to what Microsoft and Toshiba have implemented in HD-DVD. Sony dropped the ball on bluray. Like, for HD-DVD, all players are required to decode the newest sound formats and all HD-DVD software has to have at least Dolby Digital + where as you have Sony keeping Bluray with no requirements on higher rated sound formats. That's why I hope HD-DVD wins the HD format war...it just has too many better features compared to bluray.
