Yep SD that's what news are saying.Yep FFXII has been out here since october and i beat it and its pretty good, great battles and awsome graphics,of course not better than X or VII. the next KH game will be announced in spring 07 says the maker and it's more likely to be on Wii and PS3,or at least a Wii spin off because he Wii can't handle the graphics shown in the KH3 teaser after KH2.I really want to see how the wii KH will play,i would love to use the wii mote to control a keyblade, sounds fun.
Uh havoc, seriously ,hwere do you live, because i live in a city of 10 million and there are little to no ps3's here, and alot of wii's and of course the year old 360. I've read on forums that they're most likely in rural country stores where...well people can't obviusly afford them. The PS3 launch with games and units sold is twice as good as the 360 launch. Demand has not gone down because stores near me get them at least once a week and they go in a matter of 2 hours, and many stores have not sold any 360's in the past month(I've surveyed for a school project). Your statements seem to be biased seeing as you have a 360 and no PS3 while i have both and can give an honest statement. Also like i said, havoc if you want to talk console wars, lets take it to the console wars thread because this is a wii thread and i don't want to clog it up.
And the 360 and PS3 graphics are the same as of now. The 360 had way worse graphics than the PS3 in it's time of launch and has matured to where it is now. The PS3 started out jsut as good so it will mature way faster, and more and more past 360 exclusives are coming to the PS3,odd don't cha say

Actually DPK, the 360 outsold the PS3 according to sales figures during the holiday season. The Wii is the big hit though. Sony really shot themselves in the foot with adding blu-ray to the console and not knowing how to market it as either a video game system or a cheap blu-ray player. When I was in Miami and walked into 3 different best buy's with huge stacks of PS3's, I knew Sony was going to have a problem with the $500-600 price points.
I think Sony has stiff competition this video game generation. The 360 is way ahead and with a price drop this year will pull further ahead and of course the cheaper Wii might best them both.
By the way, I want a PS3 but not for games...lol.

no DH i mean in terms of the 360 launch in 05 compared to the PS3 launch in 06. and think about it, the PS3 sold more than the 360 launch and the PS3 only launched in asia/NA and the 360 launched worldwide. And Europe favors the PS brand over anything as statistics show. Since yesterday when the EAU launch date of march 23,preorders are now 80 percent taken. Imagine what else is in store. M$ aims for more of the fsp area where the other consoles are all around. In the long run i think the 360 wont come on top but the other consoles will be head to head. Also there wont be a 360 price drop next year as M$ said. the 360 is more aimed at america while the PS3 and the Wii are aimed worldwide.

MS wouldn't mention a price cut until they actually make the cut. If they said that they are going to cut the price this year then sales would slow down until they cut the price, which MS wouldn't want. So just because they said they weren't going to cut the price this year, doesn't mean they won't. I remember the same thing happened with the original X-Box. MS kept saying they wouldn't lower the price but all the inside rumor's said otherwise and then they lowered their price. It's just how the game is played.
The reason the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 during their respected launches was because the PS3 shipped out more units. After it's initial launch, Sony was air shipping 100,000 units a week through Christmas. If they both would have shipped the same amount of units I believe they would have been about the same in sales.
While the PS is favored in Europe and the presales are high, the real question will be if they can sustain high sales after the Sony fans and video game lovers have bought their consoles. Sony's main problem is price. They just put too much technology into these systems and even with selling at a loss (Sony is losing $300 for every 20 gig PS3 sold and $240 for every 60 gig sold) the price is still too high at the $500-600 price point. The other problem is we probably won't see a price cut for the PS3 for a long time considering the price of the blu-ray diodes are expensive and aren't being produced fast enough. So Sony is in the long haul with losing money on their systems while the Wii is making a profit with every system sold and XBox is at least making a small profit or breaking even. This is why I think PS3 will remain last or second at best. If Sony would have made a more cost effective system like the PS2, then they would have been on top again...but at this rate that's not happening.

I think they can,PS3 has majorly improved since the launch. The reason why the PS3 hypers have not bought any were because of games. It lacked games, it had only good game out of 9 launch titles. The UK launch will have 36 games, over half gotten a great score, most exclusive with the exception of some sport games and F.E.A.R. and Rainbow six Vegas(excellent on 360). But i DO thinkt he Wii will come out on top, the PS3 is jsut a PSP with shony graphics, the 360 is just a xbox upgrade. The wii has brought something previous nintendo consoles have never brought to the table, although it lacks games aswell. Nintendo is praised for their excellent first party titles. And that i think will win the wars

I agree DPK, the Wii looks to be the one to win this war. I think both Sony and Microsoft can take some notes from Nintendo. I would have never thought Nintendo would have had a chance but I'm glad to see it as Nintendo has always brought amazing games out for their systems and the N64 is still my all time favorite video game console.
