Emma Frost Movie Mulled The White Queen could get her own film as part of the X-Men spin-off effort. Look for Emma Frost (X-Men's White Queen) to possibly get her own movie, according to USA Today. The newspaper outlined planned X-spin offs including Magneto and Wolverine solo flicks: "The first spinoff will be Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. His character has an as-yet-unrevealed back story in which researchers replaced his original bones with a metal skeleton. Jackman has signed on to star and co-produce, and X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner says it will likely head into production next year." "We've also talked about doing something on the kids in (Professor X's) school, focusing on their lives, and less of a global adventure for the team," says Hutch Parker, production president of 20th Century Fox. "The studio is also exploring a movie with Three Kings director David O. Russell based on the character of Emma Frost, a sexy mutant telepath who can transform her skin into diamonds. She is an X-Men comics regular but was not featured in the movies. "Another likely solo project: Magneto, also in the script phase. The film will focus on his youthful pre-villain days, Shuler Donner says," according to USA Today. "Though it would require a younger actor for those sequences, she says the film would need Ian McKellen to anchor the flashbacks. I LOVE Emma, but I don't know if she should get her own movie.
Female superhero movies like NEVER do well, Elektra, Catwoman,
Aeon Flux, Ultra Violet, the list goes on. Although I thought Elektra
was rather good.
They should just put Emma in X4, give her a decent sized part and
work her into the story.

i don't think many people know emma as much unless they read the comics.
Plus, she hasn't even been introduced in the movies yet!

Yeah she should get a part in the "Academy X" movie not in her own... not yet. I mean even her solo book failed. Don't get me wrong I love the White Queen but the movie-verse isn't ready for her.

it be kooler to see her as a new teacher in the young mutant spin off... since its obvious that after x3 storm needs to hire new teachers, since Beast is part of UN now...

Good point, I forgot Beast was apart of the UN now, that means he can't be a teacher at the school, DARN! Emma should be a new teacher at the school in X4, that would be so cool. They definately need new teachers now that Scott and Jean are g-g-gg-GONE!  And since Storm is the new headmisstress they need someone else to take her place as the history teacher. |

well yea Emma is not BIG in the comic book world but she can make it BIG in the boxoffice.... because she's sexy and has powers to go along with her apperance.... the problem we run into is who can play this sexy telepath?  but i would be willing to pay and see this movie... these are some actesses i would consider for Emma Katherine Heigl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D if not then these would do, 1. Angelina Jolie 2. Darly Hannah 3. Britney Spears (how she looked in 2001) 4. Scarlett Johansonn (maybe then can make Emma younger (like they did with Rogue). 5. Anna Kornikova 6. Cameron Diaz 7. Rebecca Romijn (is Mystique dosent come around in X4) 8. Paris Hilton? 9. Jaime King!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10. Nicollette Sheridan |
