The newest issue of Premiere (May 2006) magazine hints that Mystique will be one of the few who bites the dust, though it can be interpretted many ways, I figure thats what the point of this forum is lol: "... and Romijn confirming that her contract is fullfilled, one guesses that Mystique is among the characters the filmmakers say won't survive the movie. Haha, well i guess Mystique has appear in all 3 movies, she is the only faithful one besides Magneto, that has survived throughout.... Sabretooth and Toad were all gone, so i guess for her to decease is abt time... that will save the team's bottlesof blue paint in future shd they make another sequel again, hahahaha....

I Think that maybe magneto could be the one that dies.

It is possible that Mags mite die, it was in the comics before, so does Prof X and Cyclops, but how's the movie gonna follow this plotlines, i am not sure. But Mystique to die, is really a shame cos she does kick@$$ on screen, given her strong silent nature, alot of ppl can relate to her..... Yeah, though she is evil, but i dun bring myself to hate her, I empathised with her why she did all this, why she was evil, why she was bitter at the world....
Rebecca portrayed that into Mystique and i find myself drawn to her regardless she is evil or not, anyone agrees???

I dont think magneto will die. He will ether leave for a far aay place or become good.He might die actually.They need a new villain if they do more films though, they need some closure with magneto.

True, to have the X-mEn fight Magneto in all 3 movies is getting lame though.... WE need more new villains like Apolcalypse, Sinister, Mojo, etc...

I think that Magneto decides to leave and make everyone believe that he's dead. I think maybe cyclops goes into a coma at the beginning of the movie and that's why he doesn't come out anymore in the trailer. I think maybe mystique dies, either because Magneto kills her,(which would be wrong) or maybe her body rejects the cure, and therefore killing her. Maybe professor X might die, but i read an interview with the director somewhere, i dont remember right now, but they asked him if some characters were going to get killed off, and he said ' yes, but do remember that Jean grey died in X2 and then she came back, so anything can happen, something like that. That opens up alot of possibilities. They could probably make everyone think that they are dead when infact they survived and have abandoned their people. Who knows anything can happen at this point...What do you guys think...this is just my opinion. I think he's just saying killed off and he actually means leaving the scene unoticed. who knows, i dont know what to think anymore....i'm getting a headache...

The rest can die for all i care, LOL. But Mystique die? No way, it is such a shame, she is a character of her won and she shd have a spin-off movie... In the comics, there's no way that Mystique was killed... she disappeared for awhile but no evidence that she was really killed off though!

and the way they die would be like random and not in battle. like cyclops is walking down the stairs and he falls and brakes his neck. Storm was flying near the x-jet and got burn in by the engine fire thing... lol or iceman and kitty while they were iceskating they both triped and slit each other with their skates... lol talk about Final Distination: Xmen edition... HAHA

I think Magneto will survive, but possibly just as bad for him, be given the cure. This could reference the current X-Men storyline in House of M where Scarlet Witch made mutants no more and Magneto is left without his powers.
