Haha, cartoons are simplified, edited versions of the comics. The real comics are more intensed and complex. Carttons only cut certain things to make the story more intersting and easier to understand..

if i remember right during the flash back when Mystique's was abandoning Nightcrawler in the cartoon, i believe they made her hair black. the cartoon may not have been as complicated as the comics but it was still pretty complicated... lol
