If Gambit were to be introduced into the films, who would be the ideal person to play the ragin' cajun? Im going to go with Norman Reedus.

My vote also goes to James Franco, seeing him in that James Dean flick convinced me that he should play Gambit. He was great in Freaks & Geeks as well.
Too bad Gambit's not in X3 though, at this rate we'll probably have to wait in the next decade to see him. Maybe Ratner will sneak in a very small cameo while fiming towards the end.

I like the idea of James Franco...but what about Brad Pitt?...if it would turn out like Ben Affleck being Dare Devil, then nevermind. Go with Franco.

about James Franco, i dont think he would want a cast as gambit because he wouldnt want to be typecasted as someone who only plays people in comics to movies

OMG, I have the perfect actor to play as Gambit! If any of you have seen S.W.A.T., he's the bad guy of the movie. The best part is that he is actually french, so the accent won't be much of a problem for him. He'd just have to work on the cajun part of the accent. If you don't remember him, here is a link on what he looks like: www.imdb.com/name/nm0553648/
