So you think people should wear what you want when going to an X-Men movie? I think not! If people want to dress up for a movie it will always be their choice and frankly I don't think they care if you or anyone laughs at them.

okay so far I have the original X-Men costume and I'm gonna be Angel, but i gotta see, it may be mega hot!!!
Do you all wanna do a nationwide countdown promotion where all the fans stand on a corner the week before the movie where it's crowded in an X-Men costume and promote the movie, just let everyone know it's coming out? You may get on t.v.!!!! ;D

>> I didn't say don't dress up b/c people think its weird... I said I don't dress up b/c I think it is weird!!
Glad you clarified that point. If you lived in a world where everyone wore brightly-colored spandex, you'd think dressing in Abercrombie was weird. Your perception of being normal is influenced by society. What I mean is that weirdness is subjective.
>> And if ya do and I see ya I am gonna laugh at ya.
I give a wisp of wool.
>> B/c it isn't normal, you aren't an X-man no matter how much you have dreamed a/b it,
Hey, I've never dream about being an X-(Wo)Man. Why do people dress up as scary monsters at Halloween? Because it's fun! Doesn't mean they want to be a blood-sucking vampire or gruesome monster.
>> So let it go and go wear some damn abercrombie or something
Hehehe, that's my choice. I'd rather not be limited by what people believe is normal.
>> I am really not trying to offend anyone just my opinion which i am entitled to.
Ditto, this is just playful debate about being nerdy. But I think all those people who dare to do things considered weird or laughable need a big applause *clapclap* 'Cause they know real fun should come from the inside, from what WE like.
What? No, this is not off-topic. Why? Because I say so. *runs before other staff members see her*

of course its weird! why else would we do it? come on, we are talking on an X-Men Forum, i dont think we have to debate whether or not we are nerds
*update!* i finished my bracelet today that i was going to wear to X3! everyone is excited right

That's cool Havic. Where'd you get it?? You know I might do that. I just don't know if I can get a costume anywhere here in Holland. But I've got mah gloves bought last weekend. And I still gonna buy some white hair paint which I can attach to my hair the day before I'm not really sure if I'll totally dress up though. Depends or whether or not I'll find that costume of Rogue ;D

They've got the cyclops helmet/visor at the comic store I go to. I made my costume..
It depends on which Rogue outfit you want though. a simple on is get a long sleeve green shirt (i guess you need to get it now while it's cold but i don't know much about holland. Got a blond haired friend named Jasper there somewhere) Get some green jogging pants and green gloves you could get away with other gloves. Go to a costume store though they may have green. And just go to a fabric store get a white strip of fabric and glue, sew, or staple it in the pattern like Rogue and you have her costume. If you have a long wig or long hair it will cover up the fact there's no hood, but you could add a hood easily.
For the black movie costume (for any character) get a long sleeve black shirt and jogging pants. Maybe add a color (cut a long strip of fabric or paper and pin it or add buttons to it if you want it elaborate.) then get some fabric paint and only do the outlines for the color. So like if you're Rogue I forgot her color, make an X with a circle around it for the collar, and then put a big bubble X like the costumes. Maybe for the lines on the sleeves and legs, etc.

I have a zip up gray sweatshirt that has the Xavier's Institute logo on it like the one Logan took after he choked Jean and left the lab so I might wear that.
RogueSB I dyed my hair white in the front once permenently and it looked really cool.

I would like to see a pic of that slayerlv. I don't think that would come out right with the type of hair I got but I'm gonna go to a costume shop soon and get me some white hair paint. @ Havic If I can find the movie costume of Rogue I will definitely buy it. And wear it to the movies. If not, well I have some green shirts and I will wear my jeans with it, along with the leatherlike trench coat and green gloves
