I think the reason they didnt have Jean vs Storm was becauseof the ammount of power Jean had If they would have fought Jean would have turned Storm to dust. But they coulnt do that. So they would have probably made them have along fight. But then they would have looked stupid because Jean killed the Proffesor in seconds and it took her an entire battle to kill Storm.

Lol Storm killing Phoenix wont be happening any time soon.
