So the next-Gen has officially started, In the US, the wii is leading, with the 360 behind it(well its been a year) and the PS3 not too far behind. In Japan its with Wii,then the Ps3,with the less favoritable 360 going on extremely weak. Here are my reviews on the three Wii: I played a wii alot before, and i love it,better than the PS3,although the games are starting to repeat(because you can only make certain movements on it) and the graphics are poor for a next-gen.Still fun none the less. Xbox 360: what can i say about it,Xbox live is at the moment the best online gaming service ever. The graphics has had a year of advancement and is selling strong in the US. Although the games are short because its on a DVD format and the dvd can't hold gameplay and graphics at the smame time, also the hd-dvd add on does not play games. PS3: the underdog in the Us gaming market, but selling strong. Simply amazing peice of tech for your buck, i love the SIXAXIS and motion sensing(soo fun on motorstorm demo). Although it does not have many great games as of yet, this makes it kinda bad. Well...that's the only bad side, besides the free online, which will no doubt get better with updates as it has been doing so far,the xbox live had 6 years to grow,PSN is just starting out, people have to give these things time. The graphics are simply amazing and of the same quality as the 360,and the 360 has had a year to develope in graphics and the ps3 has jsut started out like this,it'll grow much faster, and has alot of room for changes for the better, simply me favcorite because i know what it will become in 07 during the UK release, with the massive update.
Just so people won't think ims PS3 biased,i have a PS3 and 360,and i use a Wii alot(my nephew has one,i use his)

This generation in Video Game consoles is going to be an interesting one. The 360 is going very strong and will most likely continue to lead for now. It seems to have the better games and will also be getting some Sony exclusives as well, which means the table's have turned on Sony. The Wii, while not having the best graphics, is alot more innovative and cheaper which means at the end of the day, the Wii might win this console war. The big surprise is the PS3, which will most likely stay last in this war. Hopefully that will show all console makers that the 500-600 price points does not work. Sony made a big mistake by adding Blu-ray to the PS3. Not only are they undercutting other manufacturers who make standalone Blu-ray players by having a console play BD films at half the price, but you shut out the majority of console buyers by making the costs too high. Sony has alot at stake here and I think they may get burned. By the way, I have none of the new systems. Still have way too many games to play on my regular X-box and Gamecube. I'd only want a PS3, not for games, but for blu-ray films (even though I think HD-DVD is better). The system I'd buy for games would probably be the 360 as it has the best line up coming up and also looks like it will be getting some Sony Exclusives. But yeah, uhh, that's all folks.

As time goes on you'll probably see more exclusives go multi-platform. With the costs of making a game it would benefit companies to release on the different consoles, especially since the 360 already has almost 10 million units sold. Sony has already lost two exclusives, how many more will they lose as the sales of the PS3 aren't meeting Sony's expectations? I bet after the 360 gets its first price cut you'll some more Sony exclusives become multi-platform. I mean, Sony will of course keep some exclusives but if they are already losing some exclusives then it might continue if the sales of the PS3 continue to be sluggish.
