I noticed there isn't a Batman thread, so i thought this could be a good place to discuss the franchise. This could include the Burton films, the Schumacher films (love em' or hate em'), or Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins," which is the beginning of a completely new series and what i believe is a much needed fresh start for the franchise. So, what do you guys think of these films?

I always liked the idea of Jude Law as Joker, because I can see him playing a warped character like that. Paul Bettany would be good too, but I prefer Law over Bettany.
Another interesting idea would be for Michael Keaton to be the Joker...that would be kind of cool. lol.

Batman vs Batman lol. Well from the news we are getting so far I think it may be Paul Bettany. But I want him to look like the 90's cartoon version of Joker and with a bad *** attitude and a perfect laugh

But seriously, Bettany is cool...but he's not my first choice for the Joker.

Hmmm....those just don't seem to work for me, I guess the thing is I can picture Johnny Depp being joker, he has done weird things like that before....

NO JHONNY DEPP! I so hate him.
I really dont want a joker in the next film. I want to see something new. A new villian we've never seen in the movie like scarecrow, he was absolutely amazing.

They have to go with Joker because of that great set-up in Batman Begins. I think they might go with Joker and have Harvey Dent pre Two-Face and have that be set up for #3.

Hhmmm no Johnny Depp but he's talented and versatile, They've already used the scarecrow though so they won't use him again.....

I'd rather not have Johnny Depp as Joker, he's too big. I prefer someone on a lesser scale fame wise.

I agree with Downhere, you need someone of a lesser scale to really bring the characters alive.

Justin Theroux would be perfect to play Two-Face.

Yeah I loved the game. I just wish the fights with Scarecrow were harder.

yeah i liked the conrtols, the fights were easy for me, but it was too short, and i wanted more batmobile fights and some city stuff, the secluded areas and assylm were tiresome for me, everything felt the same but it was really fun.
