I am sooo sorry to offend any wolverine fans because he's my 2nd favorite xmen out of everyone... and well Jean is my first but anyway THIS IS RIDICULOUS... seriously... Wolverine had enough screen time in all three xman movies because practically it was all about him ... Wolverine is the face of Fox Entertainment.... there are too many unanswered questions on x men the last stand... i actually am the one who loved the movie but he had enough screen time already hench the title "Xmen the last stand" its the whole team's last stand not Wolverines he gets a spinoff and it explains why sooo many characters in x3 were under developed...
total waste of time of producing a Wolverine movie... its a distraction.. g fox should focus on a X4 because it was beyond their expectations in the box office sooo yeah i am not going to be suprised if there are very good special effects used in this film that was wasted upon using it on the Dark Phoenix in X3...

I agree with you, an X4 would be much better then a Wolverine movie (Im not much of a fan of him). Though we are getting it so it better be good, actually have some depth to it.

O come on people he is even going to have his own show WOLVERINE AND THE X MEN <<<<< bad idea well i at least some people are backing me up about that wolverine gets a lot of attention... well i guess most x men fans really want a another sequal to X men the Last Stand rather than a Wolverine or Magneto spinoff... its really stupid how fox make decisions for comic book films. Destory the movie franchise and go solo with the most popular characters..... I say that Fox should sell the X Men rights and franchise to anther company willing to continue the story of X Men the Last Stand like Sony Pictures for example its that simple. Since Fox is cheap.

its really stupid how fox make decisions for comic book films. Destory the movie franchise and go solo with the most popular characters..... That sentence makes no sense. You say it's stupid that Fox are launching a spin off film based around one of the movies most popular characters?! Thats called a safe investment! They aren't destroying the franchise, they never said they wont make more X Men films. I think it's a perfectly good idea to make a Wolverine film. Mainly because, they can actually give it a higher rating, so there will be more violence and we actually see Wolverine cut loose (no pun intended) without jeopardizing the younger viewers of X films. It also means that all the fans whining about Wolverine taking up screen time in the X films instead of their precious characters will finally get their way and (hopefully) shut up. One thing I hate about X fans, is the majority are always quick to slate anything they don't 100% agree with. Whatever happened to just seeing what people can come up with?

I have to agree with ya 3D even though i first hated the idea of a wolvie film, but as long as it's x-men related it's good enough for me

As much as I love Wolverine, I think they should give more focus to the other characters. Storm, NightCrawler, and Cyclops all had huge potential and FOX wasted it on Wolverine. I think Sony or Warner Brothers should have done these films. They didn't even spend enough time on Jean/Phoenix! I'm excited for the Wolverine movie because he has a pretty exciting backround, but please FOX, grow some sense and make these the films they could have been!

Wolverine is like THE X-men man. He's the most popular character, and has a huge following. I'm not surprised he has his own movie, although an X4 would have been ALOT better.

To darkphoenix4ever. I'm backing you up too. I'm with you all the way. Wolverine should be the last X-men character to have a spinoff. I hate Wolverine, he is such a pointless character to me, it's not funny. What special effects will he have in his movie? None, I tell you, there won't be any, unless they bring in other X-men characters, which I hope to god that they do, if they want me to pay to see a Wolverine movie. There are plenty of other X-men characters that would have a way better movie than Wolverine's movie. Why him? Use an X-man character with powers or someone that does something, not Wolverine, who's movie is going to be boring and just be a non-special effects, regular action film. Wolverine's movie is going to be like the Punisher's movie without the gadgets. Plain and boring, just a waste of my time. A waste of film, money, production crew, set, the directors time, screen writers time, just a waste of everything that goes into making the movie. If somebody starts a- I Hate Wolverine Club- please let me be the first to join.

Like it or not Wolverine is one of the most popular characters in the xmen and I believe the mysteries about his origins are interesting enough to make a movie. And for the record if someone starts a Cyclops haters club, let me know to join. For me Cyclops is one of the most boring characters in the Marvel Universe, even Reed Richards is more interesting. My apologies to those who like Cyke. But I think I have the right to express myself too since Wolverine haters are very vocal about it. Guess what, I'm so glad I will be able to see my favorite mutant in his own film.

Like what I said Logan/Wolvie is my favorite male character and 2nd to favorite Xman character other than Jean herself. Hate is a strong word though for Wolvie. Its just i HATE fox for making Wolverine the face of the Xmen Franchise. Its really a bad idea to focus sooo much on Wolverine's past. Its not fair to the other characters who are waiting for screen time.
Well, I am just going to say that I am only going to try all brothers and sisters of the xman franchise. Its funny how I live only a few blocks away from the FOX network in Manhattan and well could personally go to Marvel Entertainment Inc and well confront the big greedy guys. I am honestly disapoointed of how FOX rushed X Men the Last Stand which resulted in not too much depth in the characters and the story of the Dark Phoenix. Well, I actually love the movie though but from watching it you could tell that it was rushed. I am just going to request for well X4 and also X Men 3.5.
Besides one person could make a difference right?

Looking at it from the money making aspect, having wolverine have his own film makes sense, most people love wolverine hence the reason he has had so much screen time and been a main focal point in all the movies. Its a business and I guess we're all going to have to deal with it. Im not hapy, but I suppose ill live. I still stand by X4 being made instead...

magneto spin-off= good idea
wolverine spin-off= bad idea.
too much wolverine. wolverine is an interesting character, but they pretty much took care of him and his story in the first two films. how much more of wolverine could we possibly see? ever hear of too much of a good thing ain't so good sometimes?
