Aww I love him, and I think its worth spending money on Logan (although he is a attention seeker, but he cant help it! The writers wrote him that way, and the director asked Hugh to do it that way!! (I think.. )) Anyhow, I think we'll just wait and see. Personally I'd like to also see a movie made about the first students of Xavier (Storm, Jean, Cyclops)!

The first X-Men comic was released in 1963 and the original five were Cyclops, Jean, Angel, Iceman and Beast (though not yet as animal-like, that came later). Storm and Wolverine, while fan favorites, didn't appear until the mid 70s. Rogue not until 1981. www.marvel.com/Wolverine is popular because of Hugh Jackman, not because of the character. X-men helped make him a big star and that is why we see him featured so prominently in the films. I still don't get Stan Lee saying characters like Wolverine, Sabretooth, Toad, etc are more evolved than the rest of humanity. Perhaps their healing abilities and flexibility, etc but physically they went backwards. I wouldn't want to look like an animal. Jean, Storm, Magneto, Mystique - that's evolution to me.

That is perfectly put...Wolverine wasn't so popular in TAS....Cyclops was more popular...it's only cause of Hugh Jackman...but i like the idea of WOLVERINE.

Partially cuz of Jackman, the other part cuz of wolverine the character. Let's face it, his background is violent as hell and it will make a great fliuck for all comic fans and simple moviegoers to like. Wolverine's always been the most popular x-man, so you know a spin off on him was bound to happen.

Hmm...He may be the most popular *coughstormiscough* But a lot of the X-Men have very interesting pasts that are worth a spin off. Like Mystique, Storm, etc.

I would love to see a Mystique spin-off. I mean yea all the xmen fans will see it but noot many other people. But lets be honest, no one would watch it. Everyone is to revolved around Wolverine.

Wolverine's always been the most popular x-man, so you know a spin off on him was bound to happen. Hugh Jackman has definatly made Wolveirne more popular than he all ready was but I agree, people are going to like Wolverine's background because its violant and he doesn't take crap from anyone. Personally I love Wolverine. I was a fan of Wolverine before the movie came out but I do love the movie verson more because hugh plays Wolverine. I think Wolveirne has, ever since he came to the x-men, always been the most popular x-men. One of my friends who loves Hugh, says that when she thinks of X-men she doesn't think of Cylcops or Strom but Wolverine.

Yes I think you are right...I love Wolverine, but I cant watch the other X-men because they dont take a big part in xmen films. just wolverine is front of from the others. I think it is weird. maybe othr mutants like jean, storm, rogue, iceman can take bigger parts in xmen films...

Does anyone else think Hugh may be a bit to old now to play wolvie the way he sould be played. I really do. I think that is just one of many reasons I am unable to get really excited about Wolverine. Also, the fact that production of this movie has been put off so much, tells me relatvely how passionate Jackman is about playing the character. Not very. Knowing how actors like James Marsden, and Ian McKellen feel about their parts makes me want to see movies about them. That's wat puts X-Men comics apart from the others. I'll deffinately be there on opening night for the premiere, but more for the story that I know and love, not for wolverine.

I cant say i know to much about actors and their names, heck im bad at street addresses, but i do aggree with you on That out look PathMaster. the EXACT same thing is happening with the harry potter movies, Daniel Radcliffe Whom plays harry potter is completely to old for the role. he has full face and body hair and his role of that of a 16 year old. Pull out the hot wax... and the photoshop, and get ready to wait another 2 years eh people?? Neosporen too...for Daniel Radcliffe's, and Hugh's arthritis i fell hell have that by the last movie. neo..na na na na na... sporen... na na na na na

Personally, I think pretty much any character has enough history/personal experiences to get their own movie... Wolverine just happens to be the safest bet to pull in an audience. And who knows, with the success of Wolverine's solo project, we may very well get a Phoenix movie, and a Magneto, and a Rogue.... whoever. I'll see them all.

I am a big Wolverine fan so while i love the idea of a WOlverine movie i think Fox is destroying the character he is in the comics..look at how much time the comics took to revea lWolverine's past..the whole X-Men franchise was done wrong..not that i didn't like Wolverine in it....i loved it..and Hugh Jackman is pretty good as Logan..but X-Men should be more about X-Men then one person. The best moment in the franchise was Professor Xavier and Magneto....the rest was not as good.Making Storm an underrated character is a bad idea..Storm has fans and they were not overjoyed wit hthe way she appeared,Rogue is pretty much a wimp...Iceman is not a good combination for her..but a warm up for Gambit is good enough..anyway..all movies were too much on WOlverine...Cyclops shouldn't have died..he should have just departed X-men following Jean Death. Now back on topic..there will be an almost empty house at a Cyclops movie..only X-men who can have their own movies are Wolverine,Jean,Rogue and Storm
