What does eveyone think? Who should be in each level, and do you use the film classifiactions (i.e. class 1 to 5) or the comics' (Alpha to Omega)?

whyy...I havn't noticed this thread before, I shall post in in promptly.. Levels are tricky things, we all know from the movie that jean is a level 5 mutant. But what puzzles me is are they just block levels like 1 2 3 4 5 , or can you brake that down even further using decimals? like can you get a 2.5? as for where people are put in this system...thats very contraversail. wolverine would NOT be higher than a 4....I would put him as 3

well kitty, i would have to disagree, i would have to say 4 for logan. he is practically unbreakable. And yes i do believe u can be put into the decimal system.

Logan is a class 2 mutant. His only ability is to regenerate. His metal skeleton doesnt count in this which makes him very weak. Yes he can regenerate but he can only take so much. You could simply cut his leg off and he would die. Hes a class 2 mutant its not to hard to kill him.

Logan (at least in the movies) has to be higher than a level 2 mutant. He took a bullet to the head, stabs to the heart, and not mention avoided "dissentigration" from miss Jean Grey.

I have to throw this tidbit in about Logan being easy to kill: In..I BELIEVE the new Civil War comics (could be wrong) a mutant who's power is to cause great explosions (can't remember the name, Nitro or something along those lines) completely obliterates him in an explosion, leaving nothing but his skeleton. Somehow he regenerates and recovers coming back for revenge, so I'd have to say he would be hard to kill... lol

I would say wolvie is not lower than 3, he is nearly impossible to kill, if you call not being able to be killed class 2, than we have some very powerful mutants out there.

HUUUUMMMMM.....Let me think: Iceman : 5 Storm : 4 Psylocke : 4 Marvel Girl : 4 Bishop : 3 Wolverine : 4 I dont think thats right. Callisto said that Magneto and pyro were the only mutants in the room obove class 3 so psylocke has to be a class 2 mutant or a class 1. Wolverine is a class 2 mutant i looked it up. He's very easy to kill, yes he can regenerate from any attack but theres only so much he can take. Jean is obviously a class 5 mutant it was said in the movie. Iceman i think is a class 4 mutant. Im not sure i think he's an omega.

Iceman is deffinatly an Omega! It's been proven! And Psyocke is a telekinetic, able to mold and shape matter with the power of her thoughts so yes she is a class 4

This is how i tihnk the movie classification go:
Class 1: Basic mutation, like heighted senes. No main chracter in the film is Class 1, cause that would be boring. Class 2: A simplistic power, slightly greater than Class 1, like Wolverine, Beast, Shadowcat, Quill (technically Kid Omega i know, but seriously, he has quills!) Multiple Man. Mystique. Class 3: Strong power, Cyclops, Rogue, Callisto, Arclight, Colossus (possibly 2), Juggernaut Class 4: Bloody powerful, but potential is limited, like Magneto, Xavier, Iceman, Pyro, Storm Class 5: Jean Grey (need i say more)
I agree with Phoenix~Gal about Wolverine being Class 2, the levels are not based apon how easy you can kill something, or else Jean would be waaaay down the ladder, Wolverine's powers are only healing factor and senses, their basic powers in mutant standards, he's just creative (maybe that isn't the word) in the way he uses them.

I came across something before that said he was a class 2 mutant. He can be a class three but he cant go any higher. He can regenerate but he can only take so much. If his skeleton was part of his mutation he would be class 5 in my opinion because his powers would be like Jeans almost limitless.

You could simply cut his leg off and he would die. Hes a class 2 mutant its not to hard to kill him. 1. Logan is level two but has two powers his bone claws which he was born with and his healing ability. 2. Iceman is level 4 until late in his life when he finally becomes 5 or Omega. 3. Psylocke is level 3 limited psychic ability and the ability to generate psyonic blades make her only level 3
