I'm surprised nobody started this thread already.
Today marks the release of the new Hulk movie, which basically is Marvel's way of forgetting the Ang Lee film (which I didn't think was that bad at all) ever existed. I decided to check it out this morning, and overall, I can say I'm glad I did. While I feel (as I did with the 2003 predecessor) the CGI looks more like a video game character superimposed into the real world more than anything else, I understand it is a difficult task to make a character like the Hulk look realistic. The film itself is actually well done, and I commend Edward Norton for not only staring in it as Bruce Banner, but also being the writer of the screenplay. Liv Tyler does a fine job as Betty Ross, and really the rest of the cast delivers as well. Like I said before, I don't think the Ang Lee movie was all that bad at all(minus the ridiculous final battle), however, this new film is much easier to follow and much more action packed. There are a few neat surprises as well, even though one of the tv spots gave the biggest surprise away already! While I do feel Iron Man is ultimately the better film, The Incredible Hulk rocks, and I intend to add a copy to my collection when it's out on DVD. Definitely check it out!

i was disappointed in ang lee's hulk film..i liked it but didn't at the same time..maybe cause im a hulk fanboy at heart. From what i've seen of the film which has only been a few scenes i think its fantastic. i am going to see it hopefully tomorrow when i get back home. but regardless i will be visiting the theaters for this movie.

Apparently the film didn't rake in the money they were hoping....they are considering not making a sequel. That's a shame.

seriously?? well thats just messed up. That movie was a classic in my opinion...it was a great tribute to the series, and the old tv show which even by todays standards is still a classic!
that breaks my heart if they don't make a sequel

Hopefully the DVD sales will make up for it. I have not seen the movie, but am confident it's worthwhile, I will definitely pick up the DVD. From everything I've read though, Norton is not signed up to play the Hulk again, even in the Avengers movie. Not sure, just have to wait and see what the future holds.

Well,.....The movie was friggin awesome! I put it on a par with Iron Man. For those who haven't seen it, This is what the first Hulk should have been like. Doc Samson, the leader, Betty, Abomination, Ross.....oh yeah,.....and Iron Man!!! They are all in it! Friggin awesome! The Alternate opening scene.....not so much! It had potential tho'. Remember that scene at the end of X2....the one over Alkili lake revealing a phoenix-esque figure. It's kinda like that. but not as revealing and not as well, done. Wait,...I put the comma in the wrong spot.....or did I? update! - ...I just read a interview about the future of the Hulk and I implore everyone that reads this to read it. Sequels, Norton's status, Avengers, all in there and all good. www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1597802/story.jhtmlclick on it
