Yesterday, I went over to my local Borders to see if they had the X3 novelization there. Unfortunately, it wasn't, why? I didn't ask. I did find the X2 novel. And even though I am only on the 100th page, there are various differences between the novel and the movie.
The book is a lot more in depth than the movie, as expected. It goes more into the characters' thoughts. There are characters in the novel who didn't make it into the movie. I wish they did.
This is just in case anyone who hasn't read the book who may want to know the differences and stuff left out of the movie. These are the major ones, not just little tweakings of dialogue. Oh and if there is an occasional X3 spoiler, sorry...

In the museum:
-Right after he sticks his tongue out at the little girl and is reprimanded by Storm in front of the class, there is a small argument/talk between the two. Artie talks to Storm about how it's bogus to hide who he is. Storm ends up telling him that the world is scared of what is different.
-Storm later tells the class about her origins in Africa.
Food Court:
-Kitty was in the food court scene. She went pretty much unnoticed here, too, though. At the beginning, she wasn't described as there. But then all of a sudden, she has a thought, and later, one line! I was confused at this.
-Bobby and John have an argument about whether it would be worse to burn to death or to freeze to death. Quite amusing. Rogue gets bored with this, turns her head, and gives a flirtatious look to a group of guys. These guys are the ones who come to the table (in the movie). So they come up to the table, and find that Rogue has a boyfriend, and has no interest in them. To avoid looking stupid, they ask Pyro for a light.
-Pyro burns the guys really bad. Not just playing around here.
--
-When Wolvie checks out Alkali Lake, he finds claw marks on a wall/door...I forgot what it was. They were a percect fit to his...
--
At the Mansion (this one bothered me. They changed the movieverse for X3):
-Jamie Madrox, aka Multiple Man, is a student at Xaviers. He's a farmboy and he's Bobby's roomate! Theresa, aka Siryn, gets upset about all the news of a mutant assasination attempt on the president and Jamie tries to help her. He accidentally multiplies, and Siryn loses control and screams. Young romance basically.
--
On the X-Jet, on the way to Boston (to get Nightcrawler):
-Jean loses control of her telekinesis on the plane, and makes it go super fast, faster than normal...Storm calms her down. Jean doesn't explain why she keeps losing control. Storm suggests that it may be Logan. Jean then confesses that she has feelings for Logan, and blames it on his homecoming.

That's as far as I've gotten today. If anyone else wants to post any differences feel free.

Here is some more interesting stuff from the novel!
Mansion:
-Piotr, aka Colossus, has a Russian accent (not in movie). While leading the kids to the excape tunnel, he even speaks two words of Russian. Nice to know they were thinking about that.
-Logan's nightmare causes him to ruin his bed. He woke up, and the bed was shredded by his claws. He takes a shower, and goes downstairs.
-While Bobby is eating ice cream, and Logan drinking Dr. Pepper (that's what that soda was! lol). Bobby is utterly afraid of Logan. lol. Oh and instead of Logan saying "Get down!" or whatever he did in the movie, he suddenly extends his claws, and slashes through a dart that was aimed right at Bobby. Making Bobby even more afraid of him. haha.
-Bobby gets scared, and puts the whole kitchen in sub-zero levels. Causing the thermal technology that Stryker was using render useless in there.
-John and Bobby are not portrayed as they are in the movie. The only reason why John agrees to help find Rogue, is so he doesn't look weak in front of Bobby. He never wanted to be a hero.
-This was in a deleted scene, but just in case...Rogue helps two girls get to the escape tunnels. One of whom, is Rahne (Wolfsbane). Of course, in the deleted scene, you would have no idea who the two were b/c they don't use their powers. In the novel, you know at least one of em.
-Jubilee attacks a guard who tried to electricute her with a taser. She directs electricity right back at him. This makes no sense! Jubilee's powers are FIREWORKS! not ELECTRICITY! Goodness! No wonder why in the deleted scene they used electricity. Gah, if they make another movie with her in it, they better get her powers right. Anyways, she ends up getting hit with a dart and dragged away.
-Rogue doesn't really like John. To her, he's annoying. Just so you know.

Ok then. After that, up to Styker's and Xavier's talk, everything is pretty much the same.[/navy]
