^comic adaptation? well since they leave off with jean not dieing in the 2nd one, has anyone red the third one and is she alive at the beginning? Nope, not alive in the beginning. Funny how that works out. I guess Jean's death was a late addition to the movie. I bet that this book is based on a very earlly draft in order for it to be released at the same time as the movie. Oh well. There's a lot not in continuity. In the X3 book, it says that the Stepford Cuckoos are triplets. There's five of the explained in X2 book. MM is a student at Xaviers...etc etc.

I never read the novel for the first film...it wasn't my fav. and it wasn't at my bookstore. The X2 novel is definitely worth reading Pho3nixflame69 - There are a bunch. I won't post them cuz...I can't name too manyy off the top of my head, other than Rogue doesn't get the cure, and Bobby carries John home. Oh and the epilogue. ;D I'll let other people explain. I think there's a thread in the X3 spoiler section about the book

I got the X2 novel a few days before the movie came to theaters way back then. I was amazed that a lot of people didn't read it. It also screwed me over when I was writing my X3 story, because I used the ending the book does with Jean only being blind and then I watched the movie and realized I had to hurry and re-edit my first chapter, lol. That was fun. The novels are ALWAYS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ACTUAL MOVIES!!! Examples: The Punisher, Constantine, Van Helsing, even Spider-Man, just to name a few.
I loved the X2 novelization and loved the X3 novelization as well. They're much better than the movies. More in depth with characters and situations. They also hinted both times about Remy and we git nothin' in the movies _-_
This thread makes me want to read my X2 novelization all over again. I've read it more than a few times, but it's not fresh on my mind -_-'

"Jubilee attacks a guard who tried to electricute her with a taser. She directs electricity right back at him. This makes no sense! Jubilee's powers are FIREWORKS! not ELECTRICITY! Goodness! No wonder why in the deleted scene they used electricity. Gah, if they make another movie with her in it, they better get her powers right. Anyways, she ends up getting hit with a dart and dragged away."
Ok I honestly don't want to sound like a know it all or something but since I love Jubilee so much I have to say this her powers are not fireworks they are pyrotechnic energy plasmoids. Which means it is possible that on a molecular lever she could do what she did in the novel.
