I understand - that's why i prefer the likes when they released Underworld Extended Director's cut which actually spawned better sales - thought the movie wasn't that great but at least the extended version brought up sales - FOX should not be complacent and should cater to thhe fans especially since we felt so cheated about the runtime and the rushed action sequences that many of us felt there wasnt enuf character development - nonethless i keep my fingers crossed.

Who wouldn't? I would.... but when Ratner mentioned he isnt gonna put on an extended version cos he felt whatever footage in tha movie is enuf - i was kinda peeved by that comment... i dun know if they will released the extended version but i hope for more deleted scenes then. Ratner doesn't even have to do it himself. For example, with the remake for the Ultimate Superman DVD of Superman 2, the original director, Richard Donner, is not doing it but one of his old film editors is. Why couldn't a good film editor do the same for X-3? The only reservation I have is that - from what I've read - most of the deleted scenes are of people who had pretty good screentime in X-3, i.e. Storm and Logan. I was hoping for more scenes of the rest of the cast, especially the younger ones.

Yes, but what u didnt know abt the production side - everything lies with the executive decision of the director, he has the final say to what goes in and what gets cut... The editor cant do that job if not he will overstep the director's decision and he might get sued, also it cant work like that, though many of us wish we are the editors so we can put in more footage inside... hahaha... nice thought... but it cant work unfortunately, FOX wont allow that.

when a director has his final say then the movie is released just like he/she wants it...in some circumstances when the studios are breathing down the directors neck to have the movie the way they want it then thats when the director can go in and edit the movie how HE/SHE wants it thus adding a Directors cut version to the dvd...

Whoa, she is such a ****! I would love for her to have more speaking lines instead of juz clapping her hands to create shockwaves... Haha, but regardless she is ugly enuf to play Arclight though the comic version is much prettier..

oops forgot to quote! You know, deleted scenes are useless to me when they aren't incorporated into the movie. Usually just gets me mad that it wasn't in the movie so I try not to even watch the deleted scenes...so deleted scenes don't bother me. lol. why dont ya just plug them in and burn the dvd? lol thats what ill do when i get the tidal wave scene! ill even put storm in twice to make her appear more in the movie lol

Ok, let's get back to topic - i believe so far X-fans' reviews ratio of good to bad is 40:60! Which isnt very favorable... sad... but i wanting X3 to do well...but i guess reality is stuck...

I hope that you're not assuming that you're speaking for ALL fans. Because you're not speaking for me. I had enjoyed X-MEN 3. It certainly wasn't a disappointment to me.
So what! At least they made money from the damn movie! They should be happy with that!
I'm getting tired of people putting down X3 because it wasn't directed by Singer. I get the feeling that many moviegoers had made up their mind about the movie before it was released . . . all because Ratner had directed it, instead of Singer.

SR is 2hrs 34mins and X3 is 1hr 43 mins - u do the comaprisons and please dun point a finger to say ppl are putting down X3 - we love X-MEN that's why we expressed our disappointments! And if u think 250million made donestically is good? Then u are wrong, cos it took FOX 230 million to produce and make the movie so the profit margin isnt that great! Cant compare to the global worldwide cos it doesnt count.
If X3 is 2hrs43 mins then alot of us will not feel disappointed.
Your code of saying 'I am tired of ppl putting down .....' is rather rude! And we have the freedom to eexpress our feelings and opinions, it is not up to you to counter attacj us! We dun need your counter opinions...
Are u sure u arent wolfgang? U sound juz like him...

i thought the movie was good and i love xmen and its movies though id admit i did feel a little disappointment. i dont see how people can say they were 100% not disappointed with the movie. u can still love a movie and still be disappointed

I guess after watching the first time, your expectations arent so high, as u are more forgiving watching subsequent times after that... However, not everybody is that fanatic - most of the non X-fans will not watch again. Unlike X2, whereby most of the non X2 queued up to watch again and again... now that's the power of a good blockbuster...
