i know u've all missed me..................well im back just stress of college work thats why i havent been on anyway x3 total as of 2 days ago stands at $451,310,656 wordlwide. thats nearly 217 internationally and 234 in us.
i can see x3 hittin 460 at least, fingers crossed hey

i sure hope so, but i don't think it's lookin too good :/
off topic: did anyone else look at the extended scenes on the official dvd website? personally, i love all of them! (especially the ones where i can tell the difference between them and the final lol!) But i realy like the think with the extended storm fight at jean's! i think it's clever and creative and just one of those things that u'd remember from the movie. oh well.

i did x men 3 made just under a million in china in second week and about 1.9 mill in japan

It looks like X3 will finish at the 455-457 million point. Not bad, but I was hoping it would crack 460.

It should get more than 70 mil from dvd. X2 got more than that so I would assume X3 should match what X2 got and hit around 90-100 million domestically.

Well, let's say X3 sells roughly 6 million copies domestically and 5 million internationally that should equate to 150 million so around 100 million of pure profit I would venture to guess.

I think i may have said this before, but i think x3's sales on dvd will not match X2's, because X2 was bought by all the X fans and it was also seen as just a plain good move. X3, however, upset alot of X fans who will not buy it, AND it hasn't exactly been well-reviewed :/... i think X3 didn't even beat X2's adjusted domestic gross!

Adjusted domestic gross means squat. Ticket sales is what matters and X3 is pretty close to X2.
X3 will sell around the same as X2. So what it made some fans mad? I bet you they will still buy it. Plus, there are many out there who aren't X-fans who liked X3 better than the others and they are willing to buy it. So I think it evens out.

alright it may even out, but i have plenty of friends who not only won't buy it, but won't SEE it cuz they hate it so much. (they know they hate it form what they've heard i suppose)

Wow, your friends have not seen the film but hate it because of hearsay? lol. Geesh, we need to get people to watch things for themselves. I know many non-xfans who loved X3 and didn't care for the previous films. Most of the people who have a problem with the film are from the hardcore fans. At least, that's what I've seen.

At least, that's what I've seen. yeah, my editor asked me what my fav film was and he obnoxiously just told me to leave as a joke so now he can go to h-e-l-l, but im happy that X3 made more and, DVD sales should be good.. |
