i was wondering how did Storm get everyone from Alcatraz when Wolverine took on Dark Phoenix. they cudnt escape over the bridge cos of Jean being there, and when Jean went psycho i noticed the other day that Jean destroys the X-Jet too, it de-cloaks then gets destroyed so how did they all escape? does anyone know?

Thats what i was wondering. I guess they walked home. But then again they could of just called a cab. Or the goverment could have send transportation for them.

remember that jean started flying and she landed away from the bridge and i'm pretty sure the government helped the x-men because they helped them fight magneto and his army, plus beast knew the president.

 that is kinda funny. but yeah i relaised she moved when i watched it again today, the x-men climbed out over the bridge and Storm just flew away lol. i can just see them odering a cab tho hehe that wud be classic!

One could assume that there could have been a mutant that could teleport people, such as Blink or Gateway.

nah i dun tik so....deleted scene won't show minor details like how ppl get out of the island though it would b a hoot to c halle hailing for a cab with her lightning and then she and her gang(kitty, bob jimmy & hank) will get into the cab and the cab driver will just said 'sorry, no fifth passenger, rules r rules!' and all of them will go 'OH Man!' ....anyway I think it will just be more burn baby burn by dark phoenix!! LOL

i was wondering this question also
like we see the xjet uncloak but that makes me wonder if storm got in the xjet and maybe flew away and wat we saw getting destroyed was just the building and not the xjet
but i think im very wrong but that is just what i assumed

i thought of 4 ways after i saw the movie:
1. they escaped by the bridge. they would be able to do it since Phoenix is pretty much occupied destroying the island, and as we saw the bridge didnt get destroyed, so we can assume could of got away in that direction
2. they jumped in the bay and swam to shore
3. like what TOB said, unknown to the screen, mutants that can teleport
4. mixture of all above ^_^

i definitely saw the jet destroyed, and yeah i bet Storm just had a nice flight back to the mansion. hehe. that wud be fun.
a teleporter would be cool, maybe Nightcrawler came back secretly and helped them? i think now that is was probably an escape over the bridge now i have watched the scene over and over to check, lol.

I dont think so. IF she coulnt create winds acurate enough to fly wolverine to the torch in x1 then if she tried that the x-men would e all over the place.
