Brett,
Man I was so dissappointed with the plot of this movie. My anticipation was so high.
1. All of Angel's screen time was in the trailor. He was barely used. 2. What was the purpose of Rogue? She added nothing to the story. 3. What happened to all the story line built between Rogue and Wolverine? 4. The characters were not developed 5. The movie was kind of short, you could have used that time to give the characters more development. As a result of this, the audience did not attach to anybody and the movie seemed empty and had several loop holes.
BUT...THE ACTION SCENES WERE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Brett Ratner: Awesome job in this movie. I hope you do X4 with alittle bit more time which might help make it better. The story could need a little more work and the feel of the movie wasn't like the first two but overall it was fantastic.

first off to Halle, you are an amazing actress and i applaud you for the outstanding preformance and the eagerness to give Storm more action as it was so much more Wolverine, which was a bit boring after a while secondly to Brett, nice job on this movie. it must have been very hard to pick up on somebody elses work but you did some amazing work. the only downfall i saw was the fact that it might have been to short and i would have loved for it to have been longer. but besides that two thumbs up to the both off you. To astonishing director, Brett Ratner, and the beautiful and well talented, Halle Berry;
I don't mean to come off as one of those geeky comic book nerds when I say that "X-Men: The Last Stand" was creativity at it's best. The portrayal of the characters made it seem as though the comic book itself had come to life. Although I was extremely upset with the scenes where fate takes a turn for the worst and ends a few of my favorite heroes , I still cherish this movie for all that it is worth. This movie ended my favorite movie series in a terrific way that Bryan Singer could not have done better with himself. I applaud the both of you and the entire cast of all three films. Now I may seem like a bit of a suck up, but I doubt I could say something negative about either of you, even if I wanted to. Halle Berry, you are so beautiful and such a powerful actress that I have grown to love you over the past few years. I wish you the best with your career now that you're on top of the world. Congratulations to the both of you on a job X-tremely well done.
With All Due Respect, Cody Spears-Huckabee[/color]

Congrats to you both. I was just wondering Brett if you would be the one I would contact about the movie. I have so many ideas that I know would work for the fourth film. I am certain there will be one. I loved the third one, but I feel you can't end the franchise that way. I am an avid movie fan and an avid X-Men comic/cartoon series fan. So with the combination of both of those I feel I could be a great asset to have. I know there are other people who probably have asked things like this before. But trust me when I say that it has been my dream to direct/produce/write for film. I have so many ideas for film, but I don't know how to get my ideas out there since I am stuck in a small town in Iowa. With how the third movie went I see a great opportunity for me to take advantage and use my talents to help make the final and fourth film. I would be forever indebted to you for your help. If at all interested in at least listening to my ideas for the film please contact me at mancakes2002@yahoo.com. Yes I know it sounds funny, but I was drunk when my brother set up my account. It stands out though and is like my humor so I like it. I hope to possibly hear from you soon. Best of luck to the both of you. Matt Reeves

You could have done such a better movie. It wasn’t bad and as it seems it’ll rock the Box Office but it wasn’t a movie made for the fans. Please change the Phoenix/Jean dying scene –she should disappear in flames and dust as the Phoenix does. There should not have left a body behind- and add the after he credits scene before them and I’ll be happy –a little more at least-
Halle I like you a lot both as an actress and as a marvelous woman. I was by your side when you demand more time for Storm but you –I am sorry to say- didn’t play Storm in the third movie. You played Halle. I would be happy to hear a statement asking sorry for trying to steal the scene –from every scene- thank you for your work! You totally and absolutely deserve both your Oscar and your Razzie!

Ive been counting the days till xmen3 hit theaters, like from 228 days ago? And my wait was not wasted. Xmen3 is great! Cant help to have the another countdown of days for xmen4.Hopefully haha Mwah

Waoo...that makes a lot of messages for you guys to read! I'll keep mine short, then:
Thank you for coming to Cannes. It was nice to have you in my hometown, and to see you in person the night of the screening.
To Brett: I loved the job you made. The movie was really different from the first ones, but in a good way. As an X-men fan, I was really pleased. As a movie fan, I was blown away (those special effects!!! Famke never looked so scary!). Keep up the good work!
To Halle: I've been a Storm fan since I was able to read. I couldn't have hoped for a better actress to play her part. Thank you for making her look so real and human. I hope to see you in a lot more movies in the future!
Wishing you all the best, Elodie

Halle, I think you did a fabulous job as Storm, especially in X3. If there are any more X-Men films, I really hope you're in it. I don't think anyone could play the part of Storm better than you. You help make the character in the films. When I think of the character, I think of you. The idea of Storm in people's minds would be shattered if you didn't play the part and someone else did. It's not like it's a smaller role, like Kitty Pryde. You're a big role. I'm begging you, if there's another X-Men film, please play Storm! Brett, I think you did a great job with this film. It was definitelly emotional, which I liked. You made me cry both times I saw it, and I'm sure I'll be crying the next two times. But, the movie was a little fast-paced and unclear in some spots. Like when Jean killed Scott, you don't really know it until Logan says, "I think she killed Scott". Also, how did Jean "rise" or whatever from the water when Scott laser-beamed it? It seemed a little far-fetched to me, like "what just happened? There's no way that could have happened". The war was also a little short. I think the movie should've been longer, with some more stuff and the movie going just a little slower. And maybe a bigger role for Angel because it just seems like he wasn't even a remotely important part in the film at all and yet there was a segment in the beginning showing him as a little kid who just got his wings and, after watching the fim, you ask yourself "why was that included? Why is that important?" So, I think that's about it. I do think you did a wonderful job with the film, though.
