I saw X-men 3 The Last Stand.
I found it great.
What i notice was that the cure was not perminant. It was for a period of time. We know this because Magneto showed he was getting his powers back.
Now that Magneto and turned a bit better by that a mean good i believe. Well for X-men 4 they could show Mr Sinister and Apocalypse and make them the big bad.
And make the Brotherhood join with the X-men and battle Mr Sinister & Apocalypse.
Who thinks this could/should happen ;D

What baffled me in the end, is if it is a trilogy, then why did it end with a cliffhanger? I'm a bit confused as to what is going on-if there's an X4 or if this is indeed the conclusion.

Oh no i dont think so. That would be completely stupid. I think its just their way of saying "we werent going to until we saw how much money we would get".
I think it will just be a few years later and something COMPLETELY different to Mutants vs Humans or Magneto. I think Magneto will be good because of his "What have i done?" at the end.

What do you people think about Joss Whedon having a hand at direcing an X-Men film. It's all the rage right now about it on several boards. This is the guy who created the Buffy The Vampire Slayer series, and I hear he also created several X-Men cartoons and comics, so he already know's the source material quite well.

Joss would be an excellent director for the next Xmen movie. Plus he knows how to treat strong female leads so my girl Rogue could finally get a story line that doesn't revolve around her being angsty.
But isn't he currently doing the new Wonder Woman movie?

Well, I just read some interesting tidbits so I thought I'd make this the official X4 and spin-off thread. Check it out. About X4 - What a truly spectacular opening weekend “X-Men” had. Some say $200m, others not too far off that. Some say it was crap, I for one say ‘you try making a damn movie and getting it into picture houses damnit!’. That is a hard enough feat in itself. Just for the record, and despite what the big-men are saying, I can tell you that they are definitely talking about doing an "X-Men 4", now, if they already weren't. It just won't be "X-Men 4".... more of a 'Next Generation' thing. Ironic analogy, considering Patrick Stewart has already agreed to return. But more on the world of "X-Men" in the column, below...About Wolverine & Magneto films - "Ratner directing spin-off? I hear that Brett Ratner is in talks to direct "Wolverine". FOX are apparently happy with the job Ratner did on "X-Men 3", as I am, and he apparently gets on well with Hugh Jackman - who will be starring and producing - so it's a no-brainer, by the sounds. Ratner’s apparently got a woody for Vinnie Jones, too, and I hear he’s trying to find him a slot in that one. (And good to hear that Ian McKellen will indeed be starring in the “Magneto” spin-off. Guess they’ll just de-age him with some computer effects….or something?). First though, Ratner's doing "Rush Hour 3", which will also have an "X-Men" link : Ian McKellen, who is in talks to play the baddie." www.moviehole.net/news/20060601_gossip_monkey_1606.html

It's all good though, things like that happen to me all the time.

He's just a Mary Sue character that they recently threw in. While I wouldn't mind seeing Havok soon I think the "Super Summers" of Vulcan is a bit too much for now.
