nooooooooooo how stupid can they be!! they finally get it all right and they take their time thinking about Wolverine or Magneto or even a Gen X movie!!!
OMFG!!! Fox really needs to think about things they are going to ruin it all!
First of all who wants to see teenagers and their immature corky behavior in a whole movie with more drama on how their powers work? they are deaging the X-men pretty soon the movie is gonna be for kids! OMFG Do they realise weve been following the X-men for a long time and they finally got the action suspense, drama, gore that weve wanted>??!!
They should be writing a script for X4 now not a spin off or a movie about the new kids!!!
Im gonna be really pissed if an X4 idea gets tossed out because of a Gen X movie or if X4 gets pushed back til like 2010 so they can do a wolverine movie..!!!!!

They should realy consider doing a storm movie, I know halle wont because of Catwoman but nobody ever realy liked catwoman to begin with besides it had nothing to with her, It was just an all out boring movie with no-name actors. She was definitely not to blame, But I think storm has a larger fan-base anyway she should realy reconsider.

New information from USA Today USA Today has published an update on the various "X-Men" spinoffs in the works, including Wolverine, Magneto, one on the kids and another on Emma Frost. The newspaper's scoop:
The first spinoff will be Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. His character has an as-yet-unrevealed back story in which researchers replaced his original bones with a metal skeleton. Jackman has signed on to star and co-produce, and X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner says it will likely head into production next year.
"We've also talked about doing something on the kids in (Professor X's) school, focusing on their lives, and less of a global adventure for the team," says Hutch Parker, production president of 20th Century Fox.
The studio is also exploring a movie with Three Kings director David O. Russell based on the character of Emma Frost, a sexy mutant telepath who can transform her skin into diamonds. She is an X-Men comics regular but was not featured in the movies.
Another likely solo project: Magneto, also in the script phase. The film will focus on his youthful pre-villain days, Shuler Donner says.
Though it would require a younger actor for those sequences, she says the film would need Ian McKellen to anchor the flashbacks. "What's a Magneto movie without Ian?" she asks.
We'll be following all the projects closely.www.superherohype.com/news/x-mennews.php?id=4329

Im just glad that they are talking about it. So has it technichally benn confirmed? i dont really get it.
But i would love to see a movie a bit more focused on other characters. Weve seen enough of Logan and Storm. Why cant they still be in it, just not only them?

Really stupid idea. What a senese to do spin-offs for Emma and another one for X-Kids. there already was movie about them, Generation X in 1996. Money dropped into sh..t. Nobody will watch it,almost everyone want continuation of X-Men franchise. WE WANT X4!!!!!!!!! Are they stupid or what?

Um the "X-Kids" would probably include Kitty, Rouge, Iceman, Colossus and a few other characters as well. So why would not be a continuation of the franchise?

I like Emma and like her origin it is really cool everyone thinks she is a biotch I think it would be cool to see her become the minipulative vixen she is in the comics and show her strugle with her father and her brothers and sisters. It would be cool!!!

I for one, am looking forward to the Wolverine spinoff. I'm curious as to what was the extreme stress that brought forth his mutation, or how old Logan truly is.

LOL i love Emma too. BUt instead of a young generation movie AND an Emma movie, why not just put them together, and have Emma as the teacher for them. Unless thats what they meant and im just thick, lol.

they should of added all 5 and not just 3... it made me frown that they killed off Sophie and Esme b4 x3... LOL
o and i think i saw the 3 girls have another 2nd cameo. it was after Phoenix "killed" cyclops and was sending mind voices to everyone at the mansion. when wolverine was running down the stairs, 3 blond girls [which i think is the same girls] were looking around like WTF? and suprised expresion... not sure if thats really them though

Yeah, the cuckoss. I think that they should have usen more ideas from Phoenix Endsong in X3, it would have been cool. The problem is the movie continuity doesn't contain 90% of the elements that make up Endsong. There's no Quienten who went crazy and resulted in the death of a woman he loves (also as powerful as Jean btw). There's not Phoenix as a cosmic entity that needs an Omega mutant for a host. There's not "other love" for Scott to make the Phoenix take another host. There's no Shiar hunting down the Phoenix as the Chaos Bringer. There's not huge roster of X-Men that love Jean and can give her power to restore control over the non-existant cosmic entity. Endsong is awesome... but the movie-verse can't support the pure continutity depth that Endsong had access too. Endsong really doesn't fit the way the movie-verse was going and the Phoenix plot wasn't the only plot to work with as it was in Endsong. Honestly I think they did great not including elements of Endsong because otherwise the movie would have been too confusing and to deep.
