Being a bookworm English Teaching major, it was only a matter of time before I made this thread lol. This thread is similar to "What song are you listening to," but it is about books. Let's talk about what books we're currently reading, or books we just recently finished.
Recently Finished: Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn (Book I of the Thrawn Trilogy) It is very good, I recommend it to any Star Wars fans!
Currently Reading: The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud. Now, I've never claimed to be much of a follower of Freud, but this subject is very interesting. I don't have much time to devote to reading it yet, but once the semester is over, I'll really be able to dive into it!

This is a great thread! I can't believe no one though of it before. I love to read all kinds of books in different languages, especially fantasy and sci-fi. I’m currently reading “Shadow of the Giant” by Orson Scott Card, another book from Ender’s saga (the last one).

Recently I have been rotating:
Autumn: Purification - the third in the Autumn series about zombies and the end of mankind as we know it. Great story and characters in the vein of the 'Dawn Of The Dead' movies.
Day of The Triffids - My all time favourite book ever. Re-reading it again. Everyone should read this at some point in their lives. Its a bit dated now and a bit too old skool British for some tastes but it still kicks ***.
I need a new book to read really. Something a little less 'end of the world' methinks.

Divide by Elizabeth Kay. I think it's supposed to be a children's book, but a friend let me borrow it and it's pretty good. Think mythical beasts plus lots of zany fun.

I loved it! I keep it (along with all of my x-men comics and books) here by my comp. It's like my bible almost lol. I just like comics of X-men better because it helps visualize it. Did you like it too Shadowdark?

I just got through reading "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King. Stephen King is one of my heroes and on my list of top five favorite people so I liked it but it wasn't for me. It is rather short for King. Just a couple hundred pages and it's about a Girl who get's lost in the woods on a hiking trip. She seems relatively smart for a nine year old but the maint part that I didn't like was there only being her for most of the book. I like interaction between characters so I give it 6/10.

I'm about half way through Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. So far not as good as Da Vinci Code, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless. A slow read thanks to a demanding toddler.
