For Gambit I would pick Josh and for the Blob, someone mentioned Hurley in another thread, he would be great as Blob.

Oh my goodness, some of these suggestions have had me cracking up. Mostly cos they're actors I like e.g Josh Holloway, James Marsters, Batista (all 3 are soooo hot) and Robin Shou from Mortal Kombat (I love Mortal Kombat) It's like someone looked at which celebs I'm obsessed with and thought they'd be good for future X-men films. If any of those guys were in X-men films I'd see the film a million times over.
On a serious not now though, Milla Jovovich for Polaris would rule. Debra Messing would make a awesome original Wanda, but if Scarlet Witch was in a film I'd like her to be young and look like she did in the Evo cartoons.
I know this is a kinda weird selection as she's already played someone called Selene and stared in a film with Hugh Jackman, but wouldn't Kate Beckinsale make a great Selene (Hellfire Club). I'm trying to think of someone to play Sebastian Shaw now, as I think The Hellfire Club in an X-men film would rule.

I think it would be great to see Polaris, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver join the X-Men and then Magneto finds out and storms (pun intended) into the X-mansion to argue with Xavier for bringing his own children into this war, which will show another side of Magneto, a moer caring side, where he wants to save his own children from the violence that has pervaded his own entire life. As for the Hellfire Club members, I always saw Selene as some exotic beauty like Selma Hayek or Penelope Cruz. As for Sebastian Shaw: Clive Owen. Those are my choice. |

As for Havok, I'd like to see Kip Pardue since he is blonde and younger than James Marsden. As for Thunderbird and Forge, they would have to be played by real Native American actors since Thunderbird and Forge are Native Americans. The only one I can come up with is Stuart Townsend to play Forge. He looks like he has some Indian blood in him. But as for Thunderbird, I am at a lost. But I don't know any currently, so any suggestion on any Native Americans to play these two heroes. |

Clive Owen for Shaw is a great idea and I could really see Kirsten Dunst as Husk. I'm not sure about Stuart Townsend as Forge though, I'd say at a push he could pull off Gambit maybe. Nathaniel Arcand is a Native American (or at least he looks like it, I just chacked IMDb and he was born in Canada) and he was great in 'Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning' and 'Elektra'.

if they make an X4 they should use X-Force training in the Danger Room for a cameo and they should use Adrian from 8th and Ocean to be Sunspot. But give him light brown contacts and earrings like the cartoon.
They could even have something so big going on that they have to split x-men team into blue and gold, send x-factor, and x-force to a location. Like X-force 40's maybe I think when they all have the yellow and purple costumes and boomer becomes meltdown. whatever the one with Mimic and blob in it!

Kate Beckinsale would be my perfect Selene, and ever since Batman Begins I thought Liam Neeson would make a good Sebastion Shaw. Hey Coldy, Debra used to do serious roles before landing Will & Grace. Prior to Will & Grace, she was the lead in a sci-fi drama @ ABC called Prey, playing a biologist who's trying to find the secret of a new kind of human race before the old human race becomes extinct. She was great in it actually and she reminded me a lot of Gillian Anderson from the X-Files. The show was of course an X-Files knock-off. I believe it lasted only 2-3 seasons. Then, she played the wife of Richard Gere in Mothman Prophecies too. |
