after the Professor said,
"...sharing the world has never been humanities best attributes..."
...then you see this celestial type figure in the scene. Now, I'm not sure of this but was that supposed to be the Phoenix entity. If so, why didn't they make another reference to it later on when Jean was holding back the raging waters and gets all flame-y.
Another thing, remember when Jubilee and the X-kids where yelling for someone to help them, prior to Storm and Nightcrawler finding them. If you notice closely at the background where the kids where being held captive, Nightcrawler (Alan Cummings) was already in the background, hiding in the dark and shadows, waiting for his cue to "bamf" into the scene. Something the special effects guys overlooked or thought that the audience would be missed or not even noticed.
And last, when Professor concentrated on the whole Mutant population, everyone was screaming for agony except for Storm. She did this lame *** fainting spell who looked more shocked than in pain. And also was Jason not affected by the psionic assault of the Professor because he was in close proximity with the professor and inside the Cerebro 2, which shielded him from the affects. Just a thought.

whoa, good call Forum Surfer'. That had never crossed my mind. Subtle, it may very well be!
Yeah, I saw Nightcrawler too! What blows my mind is that the editing team didn't.
I've said it time and time again, the great Halle Berry just doesn't shine in these movies, and I've concluded that it's because she acts better as the star. As an actor, I'm quite the opposite. I act better when I can play off of others. I think that might be why she demanded more screentime for X3. As far as Jason(Mastermind) goes, i'm clueless.
I'm lovin your new avatar.

Thanks Pathmaster,
I can always count on your point of views and glowing input.
Yes, I think it was a bad choice of choosing Halle for the role, which is ironic because she and Bryan never got along on the set. I think other actress would have done better with less of that diva 'tude, someone like Thandie Newton, Iman, or Vanessa Williams, or the actress from the Soul Food series who plays the Vanessa William character from the original movie film.
As for the nighcrawler thing...tsk, tsk, someone got sloppy. Great eye by the way. I thought most people would have missed it.
So you're an actor. How long and are you more of an actor who prefers plays rather than films? Cool anyway.
Yeah, I love the new avatar too. I like your signatures images also. How do you do that? Just curious. As for your avatar, is that your eye.
Peace...

Aw come on mcmonkeyburger...no need to put yourself down. I almost missed Nightcrawler in that scene if I hand't paused it at the right moment of that particular scene to go to the loo.

could someone please screencap a pic of storm when she is trying to pilot the plane and can't because of Jean, she has this retardo-look of consternation that is priceless and would brighten up this forum!
thanks

Artfulmark...do you mean at the end of X2 when Cyclops yells at Storm to lower the ramp to the X-jet and Storm replies back with this look on her face, "I can't." Is that the look you are talking about because the face she made in that particular scene was unforgetful - ;D

i wonder what the editing team of x2 is thinking now, they're probly like, oh man they noticed, quick, buy all the dvds out there, then replace them with copies of 1994 fantastic four.

I think that shocked look on Halle's face was actually quite good, if she had started screaming or something people would have been like "ok....what the hell is she at?" Not everybody screams in agony or falls to the ground when they're in great pain :/

well it could be cerebra, but if that is the case it would have to be cerebro since cerebra was the second incarnation of cerebro -the updated version like Windows XP or Mac Jaguar.
But still, to me it looked alot like the Phoenix entity or force like the comics. Cerebra was all metalic-like a la Terminator but more female form.
As for the whole loving Halle thing...you Halle lovers never seems to amaze me. But I think she just wanted to stand out since everyone else where screaming in pain when Xavier unwittingly attacked them. Like..."hmm, forget what Singer wants me to do, I'll do what I think is more appropriate." snap!!!

well you have to look at both sides here too, Halles script was a huge catastrophe which is why she wanted to have a stronger role in X3. She never wanted more screen time, she wanted a solid, powerful 5 or 10 minute part.
Also Halle did look a bit crazy some times but she still stood out in a good way, I blame the writers mostly because they really didnt understand Storms character, Halle just worked with what she was given, poor halle...

Yes, I agree with you wolfgang. I'm in a better place in regards to Halle -lol. I know now that she was just doing her best on whatever miniscule thing that Singer (writers as well) gave her to do.
