So, I'm developing a series... its totally original, and starts from the beginning. It will be fairly long if plans go right. Here is a taste of what's to come.
“WDC News has exclusive details behind Secretary of State Danver’s death. It is still undetermined what the cause of death was, but the autopsy shows proved that Carol Danvers was actually a mutant. Here to discuss the matter is Senator Robert Kelly. This is just unbelievable,” Said the reporter, sporting a look of utter shock, “What is your take on that, Senator?”
“Well, to be honest Donna,” Kelly replied, rubbing the framing of his glasses through his dark hair, “it didn’t really surprise me.”
“Pardon my ignorance, but aren’t mutants different, appearance-wise, from, well, humans? Secretary Danvers looked like most other healthy women” Donna asked.
“Surprisingly no. Mutants can look a variety of different ways, even like you.” Kelly continued, “Mutation is triggered by a particular gene which reacts differently with the individual. The point is that it does make them a threat, no matter how they appear.” Kelly’s face turns bitter, “You know, If I ran this country, there’d be no mutants in office - hell, there’d be no mutants!”
“Now, Senator, that’s not entirely-”
“I’m just glad we got rid of one of them.” Kelly proclaimed with a smile.
The television went black. A bulky hand gently laid the remote on the sofa which was occupied by a stocky man; the other ran through short, dusky hair. He stood up and arched an eyebrow above his narrow lens, annoyed. “Ignoramus” he muttered.
