Or like in X1, Booby froze his fireball.
1 freeze and there we go ^_^ And yes, in the game, loads of fireing lava snakes

Yeah I think Pyro is more powerful because I mean he can make a little spark huge and if he's putting more effort in it then he can just melt away anything Iceman throws his way.

I agree with xkid. He could easily beat Bobby that way.

it depends, Pyro didn't seem to have a dislike for Iceman he just wanted to be acknowledged rather than being held back!

pyro could easily beat iceman if he could create his own fire, but he can't so i don't know. hey, i always had this doubt: in x1 when he creates a fireball in storm's class, was he trying to impress rogue? or all the girls behind him, for that matter? i felt sorry for him when iceman froze it... he felt so embarrassed.

he was probably trying to impress Rogue, Pyro was just showing off as always, and Iceman was the mature one, putting a stop to it, and paty attention in class!

I disagree that the movies present bobby as mature. He's not as bad as pyro but still (cause I mean...pyro is an abandoned child, full of the rebelliousness of the abandoned youth). More on bobby's *relative* (not complete, but *relative*) immaturity---for example, the way he greets logan at the start of x-2...asserting his possessiveness in regards to rogue. Then later talking to logan when he says "I see the way you look at dr. gray" and then when logan says "hunh?" he says "nothing...."....very teeny-bopper. In fact in the scene in x-1, he doesn't put the fire out, he transforms it into an ice trinket. He's competing and showing off. Also very teeny-bopper. In this film, no doubt he takes a step up in maturity, though, of course, in the meanwhile, I bet they show him mixed up when it comes to how he handles relationships (kitty pryde, rogue). So elements of the show-off will still be there. But my guess is that after seeing him in x3, and thinking about him from x1 through x3, we'll see an arc of him maturing, maybe even the hard way. * * *

I agree, but I love how there is an official Pyro thread. And if he indeed has the power to make fire animals.....I think I'll be in love with him *melts into a pool of water* =P

I just don't see why Pyro didn't try to impress Rogue by creating a tiny fire squirrel instead of a just a ball... Oh wait I know why, because Pyro isn't a sucker like Bobby

or maybe he was developing his powers and couldn't manipulate that well yet, afterall in X2 he just inflamed the fire to make a fire trail and make it more widespread!

yeah, i guess you're right, i mean, he was a kid back then, after all. they all were. they were just in a primary phase of their development as mutants. most of them couldn't control quiet well their powers, so pyro couln't really do a great fire thing, specially because he was having a class..
