I personally thought it was Lust at first sight <.< It was, for Wolverine it was LUST at first sight, not love. I have trouble believing he loved her at all, let alone when he first met her. Scott probably loved her at first sight, but not Logan. I think it would have been better to show Scott's TRUE power by having him blast a hole in her. It would have been hard for him to do, but he would do it just the same because it is the right thing to do...

Er, need to clear something, Scott cant kill Jean with his optic blast cos the energy will absorb into Phoenix's body to become more powerful... or so sayeth the comics, LOL! But Wolverine killing Jean is apt, it has been written in differnt versions of comics...

I agree. She was able to make him open his eyes and not make the blast come out, so I heavily doubt that he can try and blast her. There are only 2 reasons why I can say Wolverine had the upper hand with killing Jean: He can heal and his killings involve close contact and physical contact.
Agreee with me?

Good point, I forgot she would kill anyone that comes near her. The only reason Wolverine was able to do it was because he can heal himself.

Yeah that's obvious, he was the only one able to reach her AND to stop her. But I think that he does truly love her. 'Cause at the end of X-Men, he tells her (speaking of Rogue): "You can tell her that my heart belongs to someone else." What a declaration of love!

hehehe yes - Jean still falls for the bad guy... In the case of Wolverine, he isnt that bad, he is juz a rebel and loner at heart...

Jean: "Girls flirt with the dangerous guy, they don't bring him home... they marry the good guy." I like this moment,

So i guess it is justifiable that Wolverine killed Jean, not Scott...

way better then in the uncanny comics, having herself get shot by controling an ancient gun laser that came out of nowhere. and way better then the cartoon where she let a rock slid or crashing building [4got which] kill her...
