ive seen it 5 times...haha. and i have to say ive been reading the book, and so far its been better cuz it goes deeper into the actual characters thoughts. i know thats impossible for the movie but it makes the movie seem more complete. i mean it includes bishop and colossus has more that 1 line. also so far that i have read, ROGUE SAID SHE COULDNT TAKE THE CURE! i mean thats a drastic change within the book. and angel went with the X-Men to the final battle

Like i mentioned before, some ppl blame the writers for not writing the good story about X3 - however when watching the movie version, many felt let down, however in X2, ppl didnt complain a single thing they felt the movie version was much better than the novel version - so something's wrong somewhere - either Ratner focus too much on action that made X3 a BIG budget B-grade popcorn flick that it lost teh focus on becoming a great storytelling - i guess it boils down to the ego of the director and his bombardment of special effects...
I wish Singer could've taken over the reins. We'll now see how Superman Returns will fare - i believe it will ROCK!

I still dun get it what u mean - did i ever say X3 doesnt have emotion and action - yes it has, but not as enuf as X2. Dun even put X1 into the pucture - X1 juz happened to be feature-length trailer to introduce the X-MEN universe and the characters.... It is juz happen to lack certain character development and the storyline are jumbled throught eh editing and such... If u dun believe me, go read the novel and see for yourself. So many people preferred the novel version than the movie version cos of the intensity and detailed following which something Singer can adapted and Ratner can't.
Er, i really cant believe that u are still ranting on one character which is Storm over the past 2 movies and not focused on X-MEN as the whole, then i think u need to go and convinced someone to do a Storm spin-off instead. If this is so apt, then i am sure alot of Rogue fans and Cyclops fans are gonna complain and bytch-slap each other cos of their lack of screentime...
U dun have to agree with me at this point - since u are such a STORM fan, this movie is definitely for u - if u consider Storm in alot of scenes in X3 where her expressions are so stoic that her new codename should be catatonia instead. It is pointless to have an argument here cos alot of ppl here agree with me...

really? well its nce of you to have so many followers...I am a storm fan and???
I simply used her as an example and Rogue and Cyke fans cant be mad because there characters were portrayed perfectly in X1 and X2...the movies still sucked in terms of direction and I never said you said X3 had no emotion..i said X3 had MORE than X1 and X2...
Storm finally had a say in the matter of mutation so for you to say she was catatonic is ridiculous, ur just in love with Singer that you cant give Ratner a good chance and see that he finally made the movie right....
ps..if Storm is dead in the background like she was in X1 and X2 then there is NO X-MEN, Ratner made sure they were all in the movie and a team which is more than Singer ever did...
I loved this movie and yeah it had a lot of action but DUH! its the freakin final battle! of course its gonna have a lot more....the thing is it still had real emotions..

I agree with windsurfer, i prefer the book so much better as it highlights on every character as much balanced as possible - it is ok to see Storm stepped up, but with more exposure of halle ended showing more of her acting flaws, it juz doesnt work that way... please dun use the word DUH and such, it is rude and u know it! FYI - Storm will never die, cos she has never died in the history of X-MEN at all... Not ever once in Marvel History has any writers have killed off Storm cos it would be ann outrage if writers would kill off a character of color as that would be offensive to fans and Storm has been the iconic role model for ppl of colors, so to kill her is a NO-NO. So please know yr comics trivia before posting such comments like Storm wont die cos if she dies, there will be no X-MEn blah blah....And if u think X3 has more emotions than X2, than i think u shd stick to watching TV, cos i will also feel more emotion watching FEAR FACTOR instead... Juz becos Storm is given much more role in this film and u are gushing over Ratner like nobody's business - I understand she wasnt given much exposure to prev films but the story comes as it goes as it focuses on certain characters based on storyline involved... But would u dare argue that Storm, regardless, gets more role than Rogue in X2 - she does, believe it or not! The only thing she doesnt gets to fly and stuff cos of budget constraints, can u really blame the production crew for it? Juz becos X3 is given more budget and u say Ratner is the king of the world? I dun gush over Singer, i gush over his works cos all his movies have recieved credits by Motion Academy of Arts & Sciences for his works like Gods & Monsters, Reservoir Dogs, Apt Pupil, The Usual Suspects... Ratner? Only Rush Hour and Red Dragon, did it receive credits? unforuntately no.... The movie worked cos of the writers but it was his decision to incorporate the fight sequences and effects like a true Rush Hour style...which i have never fault the effects, it was good, but too much effects can spoil the broth which is the main core of the story... U say the movie have emotions - other than the funeral scene and Jean & Wolverine's last mmt - what are the emotional part of the movie - U tell me?!! DH also will say the same thing... It is pointless to argue - to each his own - u will be surprised u will be the only one in yr own camp that agrees that X3 is much better than X2, hahaha... i guess u need time to grow up and learn the fine art of cinematography and screenwriting....  PS. I am also A Storm fan and if i see Storm gets more screentime and she does nothing in the film, then what is the point? Take note: Where was she when Wolverine and Beast inject Magneto with the cure? The rest are busy?? vDid Ratner considered that in the first place? |

DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH... its hypocritical of you to think that EVERYONE agrees with you, i happen to know a lot of ppl that loved the movie and if you look at the Box Office Numbers ull see that im not the only one...obviously its doing better than the other two for now because of those numbers... ABout the Storm thing, you said to stop talking about Storm so much since she its about the X-men well I was just using her as an example and mentioning that she is a very important part of the X-men and if im talking about her then im talking about the whole movie in general... and quit saying not to argue then u respond with an argument because not only are you being hypocritical but ur very condraticting... yes to each his/her own but the way you bash Ratner and the movie and mock it compared to the last two and Singer shows that YOU are the rude one and that U need to lern more about the X-men because u dont know them as well as you think you do and brush up on some real drama and criticism... cinematography and screenwriting are not things you need to know to make a formal criticism of ANY film...maybe ur just too cold and stiff to know the difference... Ps I never said Ratner was the king of the world...i dont care about ratner and get bored talking about him all i know is that he directed X3, gave storm a voice, and the movie was amazing period and thats what im defending.. there were more emotions in the 3rd movie and im not gonna sit here and list all of them...and yes theres a lot of action but this is the Last Film DUH (oo im gonna say that a lot now since it bugs you so much  |

Er, no u put the words right in my mouth - i didnt bash Ratner, u assume i bashed Ratner... i didnt mention ' I HATE RATNER' before, u incorporate that into me cos u felt i preferred Singer's works and for that, u accused me of bashing Ratner - with fans like u, Ratner doesnt need enemies,,, it is ppl like you who creates enemies out for no reason. I didnt not say anything abt stop taling abt Storm... dun u read caerefully my prev post that i say i am also a Storm fan too. So what is your freakin prob? I felt the movie shd be balanced out amongst each character... are u gonna be angry juz becos Wolverine gets the most screentime???

And yes, as a Storm fan I do have the right to be angry of the ONLY 3 films that I will ever see about my favorite characters are mostly about Wolverine, so what?
