not really my review yet, but just some thoughts i watched the midnight showing... lol hurray for only 4 hrs of sleep b4 school.. haha and it was good, yes. was it great? no... somethings could of been done better. it just seems that there were so many side action scenes that they didnt concentrate on the action scene that really matters [the final battle] it seemed very anti climatic... though... i still loved the movie and i still cried in some scenes... lol esp the Phoenix scenes... x2, was the best movie out of the 3 ^_^ omg i got so many chills in every Phoenix scene... haha i teared a lot too, so intense in some scenes. and i do like how they explained Jean's Phoenix alterego, and its not Pro X fault y she turned into it. she already had that alter ego b4 setting the blocks, like what Pro X said when they had their setions[sp?] i find it creepy how i watched x3 at midnight and when i had my Psychology class this morning, we were learning about Dissociative Disorders. and a popular disorder amongst that is Multiple personalty disorder. which is clearly what Jean had. so Pro X had to block that alter ego away which also blocked most of her powers I so AGREE with you, my sentiments exactly, i feel the Phoenix plot shd be the main one, not the cure! That's my opinion... I like the idea of schizo phrenia jean experienced thru childhood not the alien force that taken over her.... it makes sense and more realistic.

yeah yeah jena should be the center, not the cure. or the other way around, ii like bboth and the jean was good,if the cure was it's first priority, keep jean dead til part 4 and not let it end

I was slightly disappointed but not terribly disappointed, of course it is not as bad as Hulk, Fantastic Four, Elektra, Daredevil! But as a X-MEN franchise, it has a reputation to live up to and X3 has destroyed the reputation which Singer has so fondly and taken many years of struggles to build up... it all takes one STUDIO's impatience, director's ego, writer's ridiculous greed to include so many characters yet squeexed into a short time frame! I kinda like Daredevil and Elektra a little bit too. lol I really don't think there will be an X4, because it will be ahrd enough to get the cast back. What chances is there for Jean and Cyclops to come back alive? the reason i say this is because the only way for jean to come back from the dead is by the pheonix thing which this movie kinda concluded that. And idk how Scott could come back. Prof. X is kinda coming back but i think it will be weird to see him in a new body and i think Patrick Stewart is the only one who could o it well, maybe if there is a way to get his body back. The only real thing the franchise has to come back with is the cure dont work and Prof. X.

yeah it helps^^ i saw it again and i think now its the best xfilm I don't think I, personally, will think it's the best. I'm sorry, they totally mistreated Cyke in this one...that really took the film down a few notches in my book. I have so many gripes just about Cyke and how everyone responded to his death...ugh!

im sorta tired of people complaining about the film. cyclops death was necessary for jeans character development. colossus was under-developed but he was just there and didnt need anything. storm was great, Jean was AWESOME and wolvie was the same. im my opinion the movie was unbelievable. IT WAS AWESOME! it brought everything to an end is a good, but fast, way.

Umm, Cykes death was not necessary...and if they are going to kill him, at least respect his character and have someone mourn for him...I better not continue because I might over look all the good in the film and end up hating it...at least until I calm down on how they treated Scott!

I do blame Singer for some things...but ultimately it was up to the writers and director on how Scott was handled...they did not have to do what they did and if they did do that they could have had the courtesy to show that the X-Men loved him...they all cry for Xavier (which of course is understandable) but Cyke was second in command after Xavier.

The writers had to make way for what time available the acters had, in the original story for X3,scott was supposed to live and him and wolve were going to cooperate for once, and the final battle was going to be in Washington DC,there was an interview on SHH boards that said even more. If Singer didnt try to hassle Mardsen, we would have hope and then the movie will live up to it's full potential

Who ever said Cyclops died!?!?! They never show him die!
And judging from the end after the credits, I bet he's alive.

but they show his skin bubble and veins pop out, a wave of his scream fill the school, his grave, his visor(if jean was knocked out, then her effect on him would've wore off and it's kinda easy to spot a big red beam of pure energy walking around looking for rubys to put over his eyes

Who ever said Cyclops died!?!?! They never show him die! And judging from the end after the credits, I bet he's alive. Well Prof. X is a telepath and a very strong mutant who has the capability to do that at the end, i dont think cyclops could do that and i think they pretty much implied that he was dead. And Downhere i know what you mean cause when Wolverine told storm and everyone that cyclops is dead they didnt even mourn or cry they just stood there.
