I updated my original post with Friday's estimate from Box Office Mojo.
I'm very impressed with this number, but I just hope it's not all that frontloaded. I hope it doesn't drop at all or that much today.

Can someone please post a comparison between the 3 X-films to see what did better.

Saturday's numbers will probably be less than Fridays considering Friday's numbers have the midnight showings. I just hope that Saturday's number doesn't drop too much...I'm hoping it can get at least 37 million for friday...God willing.

me too...i went to see it again last night and it was sold out... im hoping today i can get a good seat since the first time i saw it i had to sit in the upper right corner lol

well...heres a amall let down..where I am i was able to get a transfer ticket..and we went in like 10 minutes before the movie started...the theater was empty...at the end it still wasen't a full house...and some guy before me got a ticket into the movie that was already playing....

well in mexico i arrived 1 and a half hour before the film started and there was already a big big line....
i already saw the movie 3 times and today or tomorrow ill go again

I went for the second time last night. They had it on four or 5 screens all day long, and all were sold out. People were sitting in the aisles because they over-sold.

I hope opening weekend is good. It'll be packed where I live because last night was the rodeo and everyone went there (which is stupid because rodeos are a waste of time, space, and money).

I am not at all surprised it beat Spider-Man 2, after all, SM2
only made 2.5 mil. more opening weekend than X2.
So I knew this one would shatter the box office. WHOOOOOOOOO!

I saw the midnight screening, then went and caught the first showing at 11:30am. I've never done a thing like that before, when I saw X2 I saw it a second time, but it was like 2 weeks later. I plan on seeing this at least a third time, something I haven't EVER done in the theaters.

thats good! i have yet to support the movie for a second and a third time because its always sold out but no worries im hoping to see it today and every week  |
