While I preferred X2's storyline, I don't consider X3's storyline to be subpar. The storyline was interesting, but could have used a bit more "meat" to enhance the overall story.

I totally agree with u, DH. However i wonder if the fact that X3 is already taken off from the thatres worldwide cos the DVD is released so basically, how much revenue has it churned already???

It's too early to say, statistics won't be out until friday when they do weekly revenue totaling.
I think X2's storyline was better, but it also had ALOT of twist, where as in X2,we knew what was going to happen from the first 3 scenes. It was predictable, but it could've used a bit more meat to the story, as said by meaty DH and his spongey humor, lol,i remember that one

as said by meaty DH and his spongey humor, lol,i remember that one LOL...yes, yes...spongey. On a side note...anyone see that SR is 1 million away from the big 200 mil...it's going to make it now that it has hit the dollar theaters. Woohoo.

lol it will still have to make like over 200 more to equal X-Men How's that? The difference between SR and X3 is around 70 mil. Either way, I don't care if it beats X3, I just want it to break 200 mil domestically. It deserves it.

X3 had the biggest opening for October in dvd sales. It sold 2.6 million copies on it's first day of release which totals 80 million dollars. I think it can probably reach 6-8 million copies sold, especially with the eventual black friday discounts and holidays coming up.

i really think it can reach up to 68 million copies, a lot of people are buying all versions of DVDs for their collection. when i was at walmart i saw some guy who got the triology set and both widescreen/full screen of the 2 pack.
