Arriving At A Foggy Lake

This is basically almost the same as the movie with the exception of Cyke actually being there, unconscious--but alive.

The X-Jet lands in an area of thick fog. The hatch opens and the stairs fall down. Storm walks down and Wolverine follows.
Storm: "You don't wanna be here."
Wolerine: "Do you?"

*Same thing happens in the movie with all the stuff levitating and Storm and Logan not noticing yet.*

Wolverine: "I can't see a d*** thing."
Storm: "I can take of that." Storm looks up into the sky and spreads her arms. The fog dissipates.
Wolerine: "I don't like the smell of this". He taps the floating rock in front of him.
Storm crosses Logan and she walks in a different direction. Wolverine stands there as a floating rock reveals Cyke's glasses mysteriously floating in the air. He grabs them and sniffs them and looks around on the ground confused.

Storm (shrieking): "LOGAN!!!"
Wolverine rushes to Storm, not knowing the site he would gaze upon when he got to her.
Storm: "She's a live." Jean lies alone on the ground dormant.
Wolverine: "Jean???"
Storm: "Are those Scotts? Where is he?"
Wolverine: "I dunno, but he was here, I can smell him. ...God, Jean?"
Storm looks toward the trees and spots his body.
Storm: "Oh God!" She FLIES to him. Wolverine looks but his attention stays on Jean.

Storm: "He's unconscious!... Let's them back, now."
Wolerine: "Yeah." Looking in amazement at a sleeping Jean..."you're back."

Scene ends.

I have quick scene to change, nothing major but this way, it sets up the Phoenix bird fire effects that should be in the movie.

20 Years Ago

This scene is basically the same as the movie except for the beginning and end.

After opening with the shot of the Grey's mailbox, the camera pans to a shot of Jean's bedroom window. Inside the camera moves around the room focusing on various things that are of the legendary bird, the phoenix. A poster of the bird, some jewelry with a phoenix on it (the same one she is wearing in X2 in the musuem scene), and a blanket with a phoenix on it. The camera then shows the back of a young Jean Grey in a chair holding and petting a stuffed phoenix animal.

The scene them resumes exactly how it does in the movie.

After Prof.X says "Will you learn how to control that power...*Cars outside fall*...or let it control you?" Then the camera stylishly zooms into Jean's right eye and a faint firey Phoenix appears and it goes straight into the opening credits (skipping Angel's 10 years ago which will be later on in my re-write).

End scene.

Another quick scene to change slightly.

Angel's cure

The scene is basically the same, but before Warren gets up to the room there is a shot of him in the elevator going up to his father to get the cure.

The scene shows a nervous Warren, not sure if he is ready to do this. A flash back scene occurs and is the exact same of the 10 Years go scene where Warren tries to cut off his wings. After the flashback, it flashes back to the present with Warren in the elevator.

The scene then continues like it does in the movie.

After Angel rejects the cure and talks back to his father. He runs toward the window, insteadof using his body to break the glass, he folds his wings in front of him and as he jumps the wings break the glass. His wings spread out from in front of him and he soars through the air just like the movie.

End scene.

weather goddes i LOVE IT, and i also really like xmenlegend as well. i think that your storm scenes are some of the best, i'd love it if you wrote more with storm using her powers, like in the final battle. just wanted to tell you both you guy and gal are awesome!!!!!!!keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!

Yes Arclight lands on the the car because of the spinning. Lets say you
grabbed hold of a perons arm and twirled them around at a highspeed
only to let go of their arm. Not gonna be a nice landing lol. But in
Storm's case, with winds and other elements coming into play, Arclight
was tossed a good ways away.

EDIT: I'm back. Couldn't double post seeing as no one had responded to
the above yet, so will just modify this one. :-) Ok, here is another rewrite.
Thi scene is a rewrte of the confrontion between Warren Worthington,
Kvaita Rao, Psylocke, Quill & Arclight. However, Arclight & Quill are not in
this, only Psylocke is, for this is a scene I felt she should have had to
herself. Arclight & Quill only come into play at the very end hehe. here goes.

“PSYLOCKE’S MISSION”

Warren Worthington & Kavita Rao frightfully looked on at the chaos taking place outside of their island lab from a window inside; neither of them knowing what was going to happen next. Warren prayed that these mutants who’d come to help were able to hold Magneto off, but it was no guarantee.

“We have to get out of here” Warren said aloud with desperation in his voice as he turned and quickly exited the room they were in. Kavita scurried after him confused as to what exactly their plan of action was going to be. “How do you expect us to that? There’s a war going on outside of this lab” she responds, the fear in her tone just as evident as Warren’s. “I don’t know!” he shouted. “But we have to try if nothing else”.

The two turned a corner and proceed to hurry down the white hallway when … Psylocke emerged from the shadows of a near by corner as if she were apart of them. “Going somewhere?” she said as she came into full view under the lights. Warren & Kavita’s hearts raced as they jumped back reactively at the sudden appearance of the woman.

Psylocke smirked and slowly approached, pointing a single finger in Warren’s direction. “You’re the guy that created the cure I assume?” she asked. Warren hesitated for a moment before finally muttering the words “I am … but I’m afraid if you’ve come for treatment, now is a pretty bad time” his response unintentionally came out rather sarcastic, almost jokingly, but Psylocke wasn’t laughing.

An emotionless chuckle escaped Psylocke’s lips. “Heh, funny” she retorted, staring coldly at them both. Warren could sense the unnerving tension and decided to make a break for it. He grabbed Kavita’s hand and took off running in the opposite direction down the hall, but as they reached the other end, Psylocke was standing before them once more. “Teleportation … ain’t it grand?” she says ironically just before gripping Warren’s neck from behind within her hand. “You’re coming with me!” she exclaimed.
Kavita rushed forward as Psylocke walked off with Warren, taking hold of the other woman’s shoulder in an effort to pull her off of her friend. “Get your hands off him! You won’t take him! Warren run!” she shouted. Psylocke quickly became annoyed with Kavita as she tugged and pulled at her trying to play hero. She ignited her Psi Blade and swiftly turned to stab the attacking woman in the gut. Kavita slumped to the floor as Warren’s eyes widened in horror. “Nooooo!” he screamed in anguish. Psylocke looked back to the shouting man. “Shall we be on out way then?” she asks, grabbing Warren by the tie of his shirt and leading him up the stairs to the roof of the island laboratory.

Warren was pushed toward the very edge of the roof with Psylocke still gripping tightly onto his shirt & tie. She looked below to assess the battle, and despite the Brotherhood’s great numbers, dozens were falling beneath the hands of the X-men. Psylocke stood in disbelief, shifting her gaze to Magneto, Pyro, & Phoenix as they stood atop of the perch watching the rest fight for their survival. Warren too noticed the events and also noticed the now uncertainty on his captors face.

“You think this man; this Magneto is the answer to your problems? You think he has your best interest at heart? Warren asked her, hoping to make a difference but also to save his life. “Shut up!” Psylocke shot back. “You’re a human, what would you know! Magneto has the interests of all mutant kind at heart. You’re the enemy here. You & your cure” She said with complete faith, yet with her doubts.

“Are you sure about that?” Warren again asked. “I’m not the one leading you and your kind into an all out battle for my own personal vengeance. All I’m trying to do is help you people; offer you a life that nature has denied you, a life free of fear, persecution. You think after this is over that the world will look at mutants any different? You see, by helping this cause of mutant prosperity you are only lending to what everyone already thinks of you, stereotyping yourself into a catagory of nothing more than violent freaks of nature … is that what you want?”

Psylocke tried not to listen but Warren’s words struck her hard. He was right, this war, none of it was going to change the way the world looked at mutants but only make things that much worse for all mutants everywhere. Psylocke’s grip on Warren’s shirt & tie loosened greatly and she fell to her knees. “What have I done?” she asked herself. Warren gave a sigh of relief and rubbed at his throat, thankful to be alive then moved to help Psylocke from the floor. “They’ll be plenty of time for repentance later, but I think right now, we should get out of here. What do you say?” he offered her a open hand in wake of his reply.

Psylocke looked up into the sky and shook her head. “No you go, I think you’re escape route just arrived” Warren is then suddenly scooped up by his winged son Angel who carries him to safety. Psylocke then stands and looks over the edge of the roof, and all seems to be going to hell as Phoenix begins a path of destruction. Horrified, Psylocke takes off down the stairs that led to the roof, meeting up with Arclight & Quill in the hallway as they too were trying to escape the inevitable. The three mutants bursts through the ground floor doors and ran out into the open, but Psylocke was not going to die this night. Instantaneously she teleported away from the scene just seconds before the Phoenix set her sights on them and disintegrated Arclight & Quill into nothingness.

Scott arrives at Alkali Lake.

SCOTT

Jean, please... I need you, so much.

Stumbling, he falls to his knees on a large rock. Something is flooding his mind, a call, a scream, a shriek. Jean extends her arm out for him. He reaches. No Jean, just reality.

SCOTT

No! Jean, if you left... then why haven't you left me? I can't take this! I can't! Stay out! Please... just...

Filled with anger and frustration, Scott removes his ruby quartz shades. Without hesitation, he releases a raw optic blast at Alkali Lake.

SCOTT

I'll do it! I will!

He can't hold back any longer. He opens his eyes, into the sky. Second after second, his optic beam is being released. Second after second, Scott Summers is growing weaker - willing to die to See Jean once again; to stop the pain; the voices.

SCOTT

Jean! I need to see you again! Feel you!

A drop of water flies from Alkali Lake onto Scott's face. He keeps going, shooting into the sky. More water splashes up. He subsides, putting his shades back on. Puzzled, he notices energy beneath the water, swirling around. Its the very same color of his own optic blasts. Suddenly, the water falls in itself, and violently crashes into ongoing waves. A whirlpool is the result, spinning fastly. The energy turns into a bright light, slowly rising, faster. The water explodes as the light hits the surface. Scott shakes his head, slowly rising. It bursts out, like an exploding star. A ball of pure energy, whisping out in vibrant shades of reds and yellows. Scott shielded his eyes. Something steps out from within it. Slowly falling in front of Scott. It was Jean Grey. the energy continued behind her, as if it was part of her. Scott looked up, amidst the intense brightness. Jean looked at him, and suddenly seemed confused. The flames shot back within her. Scott was only happy, he didn't care how it was.

SCOTT

Jean...

JEAN

Scott. I'm not sure how this -

SCOTT

I don't care... I don't.

Scott walked closer to Jean. He embraced her sight. He softly touched her face.

SCOTT

Its you.

JEAN

Yes.

He kisses her, wrapping his arms around her.

SCOTT

Never again. I won't let it happen again, Jean. I promise. I love you so much.

JEAN

I love you too.

They pause, Scott sifts her hair through his fingers - Amazed.

JEAN

Let me see your eyes.

SCOTT

No, Jean -

JEAN

Please, I can control it.

Scott reaches for his glasses, but before he can, they are gently taken off, hovering aside. Scott reluctantly opens his eyes. The light, the red, goes away. He looks all around, then back to Jean. He smiles, and they begin to kiss passionately. Jean, in an attempt to control his optic blasts, struggles. She begins searching, mentally, for a way. More and more of her power slips. Her eyes, her face, show the power. Everything about Jean Grey is changing. Its too much for her. The fire escapes her, in violent shades of red. Scott's skin begins to shake.

END SCENE

CUE FLASHBACK FOR SCOTT'S RETURN

Scott's skin begins to shake. He opens his eyes. Jean can't hold any longer; she can't control it. Glimpses of whats to come frightens her, releasing her constrant. A reaction happens. A telekinteic explosion parts the two, and Scott's optic beams return, knocking Jean to the ground, unconcious. Scott, in turn, is thrown into the wooded area from the impact. Only his shades are left, floating, with the rocks and dust created by the accident.

Nice re-write for Scott and Jean, TOB - it gives Cyclops fans alot of hope that he is at least aline and not left hanging int he air whether he is presumedly dead... Thanks... ;D

(In order for this scene to happen--Cyclops must have still been knocked out from his earlier confrontation with Jean. Also, Prof.X did not die when he fought against Phoenix in the house--we was seriously injured with burns all over and now in a hospital in an unconcious state. In my re-write though, he dies later on at the end.)

All Of Us, Together, X-Men

Wolverine returns to the X-Mansion from finding Jean with Magneto in the forest. After being stopped by Magneto he now knows what his plans are, which is to attack Alcatraz. He speed walks into the hallway of a quiet X-Mansion.

Wolverine: “Storm!...Storm!”
Storm walks down the stairs.
Storm: "You found her?!"
Wolverine: "Yeah, she's with Magneto--we got to stop him."
Beast comes into the hallway.
Beast: "You say you saw Magneto"?
Wolverine: "Yeah, he's going to attack Alcatraz. He's gonna kill the kid and anyone that gets in his way."
Beast: "There are soldiers stationed there."
Wolverine: "Not enough to stop Magneto."
Storm: "We have to go now--let's suit up."
Angel stands behind a corner listening to the conversation.

Wolverine and Beast walk in the basement hallway as Beast finishes adjusting his suit.
Beast: "I can't believe this one still fits me."
Wolverine: "If Magneto gets takes control of that island, who knows what will happen and he has Jean with him."
Beast: "His powers have limits, hers do not."
Wolverine: "That's what I'm afraid of."

Wolverine, Beast, and Storm stand in front of the door leading to the X-Jet. Iceman, Colossus, and ShadowCat approach the other 3.
Iceman: "There's only 6 of us."
Wolverine looks at Storm and then back at Bobby and sighs.
Wolverine: "Yeah I know...look, I'm not going to lie to you...Magneto's got a whole army out there. You might not come back, she might not come back [pointing at Kitty], I might not come back."
Storm: "Logan..."
Iceman: " We know. But we're ready, we're ready to fight. We wanna help--"
ShadowCat: "--We wanna bring Jean back."
Colossus: "It's what we've been training for...you need us."
Wolverine looks at Storm once more and then back at the X-teens.
Wolverine: "Alright, let's do this. All of us, together, X-Men."

Angel approaches behind from behind the X-teens.
Angel: "I-I would like to help too."
Storm: "Honey, I'm not sure if--"
Angel: "My father's there, I don't wanna him to get hurt. His intentions are good, he just..."
Beast: "...doesn't understand."
Storm: "Okay then, let's be on our way." Storm pushes the button for the door to open. Beast, Shadowcat, Iceman, Colossus, and Angel enter the room.
Wolverine: "They're ready Storm."
Storm: "Yeah, I know they are...but are you ready...to do what you need to do when the time comes."
Storm walks in and Wolverine takes a moment to think what Storm has just said and follows in after her.

Inside the X-Jet, the X-men prepare to take their seats. Storm sits in her cockpit seat and looks out the window. A shadowy figure is standing below the jet. It's Cyclops in uniform. Storm drops the stairs and he walks up. Storm and Wolverine are there at the top awaiting him.
Storm: "Scott, you're up...are you sure you can handle this?"
Cyclops: "...it's my wife. I'm not going to sit here and not try to get her back."
Storm nodding her head up and down in agreement: "Don't worry Scott, we will."
They walk towards their seats.
Wolverine: "Glad you're back pretty boy." Cyclops puts his hand on Wolverine's shoulder in reassurance, and then takes his seat.

*The X-Men's theme used in X3 plays* The X-Jet uses its vertical thrusters and hovers above the mansion and takes off. The camera once more goes inside the jet. *The music settles down and a closeup of each X-Men's face is shown and showing that each person is not sure what fate lies ahead for them: Storm, then Wolverine, Beast, Iceman, Kitty, Colossus, Angel, and then Cyclops. The X-Jet is then shown flying over mountains.

End scene.

Danger Room Sequence

The CGI X-door opens after the credits and the camera is greeted to a firery explosion. BOOM! The subtitle reads 'The Not Too Distant Future.' What looks like doom's day is happending with never ending explosions that is tearing the terrain apart. Red lasers are being fired everywhere when we see the first sign of an X-Man.

Iceman jumps over fallen debris and ShadowCat is running behind him as she ducks her head from incoming debris in he air. They are running what looks like for their lives. The next shot shows Colosuss and Rogue running passed an almost demolished structure, as they are running by it explodes and debris goes every where.
The camera then looks up and zooms into the background. Storm is flying vertically passed mutliple lasers being fired at her. Suddenly, a homing missile is fired at her, she gains speed and starts to fly horizontal. Knowing that she can not outrun it, she out manuveurs it by doing a loop. Now behind the missile, Storm unleashes a bolt of lighting from her hands and pre-maturely explodes the missile. Storm then gracefully lands and the camera shows a closeup of the STILLETOS she is wearing.
The next shot shows Cyclops standing still. He doesn't seemed to care about what is going on in the room. He just stands there as explosions surround him.

The following shot shows Colossus and Rogue again, they take shelter behind a large rock and crouch down. To their left another blast goes off sending a big chunk of rock towards the two. Colossus stands up, gets ready to swing and backhands the flying rock, breaking it in multiple pieces. One of the pieces happens to rebound and hit Wolverine in the face, knocking his cigar out of his mouth.
Wolverine: "Grrr."
At that very moment a pillar to the right of Rogue begins to collasp on her.
Rogue: "Peter!!!"
Colossus turns to Rogue and sticks out his hand. Rogue quickly takes off her glove and reaches for his hand. She touches it and sqints her eyes for the change to take place. Instantly, as Rogue is changing to steel, the pillar falls on her. The next moment we see Rogue bust out of the fallen debris and she changes back. Colossus still stunned by Rogues absorbtion, tries to shake it off. Wolverine then approaches them.
Wolverine: "The whole world's going to he** and you're just gonna sit there. Let's go."

The shot changes to Iceman and Shadowcat. A missile is fired from the air and is headed straight towards them. They stop and Iceman puts his hands in the air creating a blast of cold ice and air freezing the missile and deflecting it from them. He turns around and looks at Kitty with a cocky smirk on his face. Unaware to Iceman, another missile is fired in their direction.
Kitty: "Bobby!!!"
Shadowcat grabs hold of Iceman and phases them both allowing for the missile to fly through them and into the ground.
Iceman (smiling): "Thanks Kitty."
For a moment they stand there looking, smiling at each other.
Shadowcat: "Anytime."
The moment is just long enough to catch Rogue's attention as she stops running and obvserves Iceman and Shadowcat together. Rogue then takes off running again.
Iceman and ShadowCat run toward Cyclops.
Iceman: "Cyclops what do we do?! We can't stop this thing!"
Cyclops, not caring, slowly turns to look at Iceman.
Cyclops (nonchantly): "I don't know."
Kitty looks at Iceman and they both take off running.

The next shot shows Wolverine lighting up his cigar on a burning car. Rogue and Colossus run by him. Storm lands next to Wolverine and takes cover behind a car.
Storm: "They're getting killed out here."
Wolverine: "Yeah, I know Storm, they're not ready."
Storm: "They just aren't focusing."
Wolverine: "Yeah, that and pretty boy isn't doin much to help."
The camera shows Cyclops still standing in one spot not paying attention.
Storm: "I know..."
A light from above then shines on Wolverine and Storm. Storm looks up.
Storm: "Logan...
Wolverine (not caring): "Wha--"
Storm: "Logannn!"
Wolverine: "Don't get your panties in a bunch--"
Storm's eyes quickly turn white as she grabs Logan and quickly spins barely evading a giant cement block that crushes the car. They crouch behing another piece of shelter.
Storm: "Now who wears the panties?"
Wolverine: "Ehh, that was my last cigar."
Storm: "Logan!!!"
Wolverine walks off as a missile hits a vehicle next to him exploding the door off right.

A sky-view shows the X-Men (except Cyclops) running some more and the camera shows what looks like a giant robot, putting his spotlight on the X-Men.
Rogue: "It's getting closer!"
Storm: "Come on, let's keep moving!"
Wolverine: "This is pissing me off. Hey 'Tin Man', hows your throwing arm?"
Storm: "Logan! No. We work as a team."
Colossus stands next to Wolverine and steels up.
Wolverine: "Yeah, good luck with that. Throw me, [Colossus hesitates] NOW."
Colossus grabs Wolverine by the back of his jacket, swings him around and gives a mighty throw.
Storm: "D*mm*t Logan! Don't do this!"
Wolverine: "Rarghhhhhhhhhhh!"
Wolverine fades into the light and fog. Cyclops approaches the group.
Storm, Rogue, Colossus (steeling down), Iceman, Shadowcat, and Cyclops stand there looking up. Out of the fog the head of the giant robot comes flying out landing on the ground in front of the X-Men. After a brief moment, Wolverine comes out from behind the head retracting his claws.
Wolverine: "Class dismissed."
Storm rolls her eyes and starts to take off her gloves.
The disaster area slowly changes back into the metal danger room. The X-Men start to walk out.
Wolverine: "Hey Colossus, nice throw."
Colossus nods his head.
Danger Room CPU voice: "Simulation 'Doom's Day' complete."

The X-Men walk out into the ground floor hallway, Cyclops ahead of the group. Iceman tries to grab Rogues hand but she resists it.
Wolverine: "Hey Cyke."
Cyclops: "Not now."
Cyclops continues walking as do the X-teens. Storm stops and looks at Wolverine.
Storm: "What the he** was that?"
Wolverine: "Danger room session."
Storm: "Could you be serious for once...you know know what I mean."
Wolverine: "Oh lighten up Storm--"
Storm: "Look, you can't just change the rules when you feel like it. I was tryin to teach them something."
Wolverine: "Oh, I taught 'em something."
Storm: "It was a defensive exercise."
Wolverine: "Yeah, best defense is a good offense..[sarcastically] or is it the other way around?"
Storm: "This isn't a game, Logan."
Wolverine: "Ya sure fooled me...Look, you told me to come, I did. I'm not the one with the problem, so talk to Scott."
Wolverine walks away. Storm sighs and as she looks back up, her eyes flash white.

End Scene.

^ i liked what you did to the Danger Room sequence, xmenlegend09. it showed that rogue definitely had better control of her powers and at least knew how to fight with them. *isghg* now if only YOU could've really done it like this in the movie.
